My great uncle Karl had the same experience with a girl, but he had to jump out the window when he heard the father coming up. He grabbed his clothes & on top of all, he jumped into something nasty. He was a soldier & ruined his uniform. We always got a good laugh out of his stories....

Thanks for sharing Matthew. Reflecting on your past relationships is a way to make improvements on yourself now. I know I've been doing that the last few years after my marriage ended. Im grateful for what I've learned and the growth I've worked on. From being angry to being enlightened and enjoying the moment more. I learned that I don't have to change who I am for anyone. I have a better understanding of my worth. And I will continue to work on myself and live my life 😊 thanks for the journey.

Never having the chance to be my own self as I was married very young with a child to an abusive man. After years of trauma I thought he was the answer. Turned out to be hell, till the day I walked away. Today I am proud of whom I have become, I have my best friend in the world to thank for his help. Many will never understand the way I chose to live my life but it's not theirs to live it's mine and I do what makes me happy.

I’m picturing your facial expression when Jill’s dad opened the closet door 😂 I wasn’t one for going to the nightclub, my boyfriend at the time was about 3 yrs older than me and he was the same way. I was more of a quieter person, however, I did enjoy dancing. I remember after we broke up, my sister took me to our local popular club, that night was male stripper night, first time I’d ever been to a show…yikes! I was under age aswell 😅, like 16 or something 😂Some of her friends were there too. I remember when the strippers were done and the dancing started, a guy asked me to dance and I actually said no 😅, just cause I was kind of shy. One memory I’ll never forget 🙈

At least Jill's dad didn't burst into your house! I was SLEEPING (not playing nintendo) fully clothed at my friend's house when I came home from college for a weekend but didn't let my parents know I was in town. My dad just walked right into Marino's house and dragged me out. He said, "If I didn't find you both with your clothes on this would have been a completely different outcome!" He drove me straight back to college without my car - quietest three hour drive I have ever been on! Dance clubs are better with a friend group...because there are too many d-bags that are there just trying to get lucky. Not a good environment to bring your significant other to for sure. In college I would go clubbing with my friend Mary and hit up the biker bar with Dan. I think if Dan would of come clubbing he would of decked a few people...maybe even Mary. And as for drink prices...I was always a water with lemon kind of girl...head on a swivel and all.

Young love! How in the heck did we survive any of them? I dated at twin from a blind date in my sophomore year to my senior/ year. When it came to the “base level” I had a ton of pressure on me from both sides. His parents had a shotgun wedding & I had a poppa (Opa) that had a shotgun & with no fear of using it. In Junior year the cow my boyfriend named after me (country boy gives the most beautiful gifts! it was a Jersey cow in the color of light brown & tan) got pregnant. His twin thought it was funny Togo around school saying “Vikki’s pregnant. The fall out was minimal, but when fI tried 0:03 0:03 to head off the town gossips at the pass I could see their feelings on the subject. Once all was clear they were fine. Th

How do you not see the value of you and Amber.... currently.???. Jill was past tense. Gone. Value what you have now and what you can change... thinking about the past is ok to acknowledge but it takes time from making the progress to better your NOW..... GTFO

It’s not all about me man, that being said - this does not take any time away from making progress on my now. Finding value of yourself in another person is a horrible crutch that can ruin your life.
