I first heard this song on a documentary on Ron Wyatt and the Ark of the Covenant. I get chills every time I listen to this song and Worship the Most High King of Kings and Lord of Lords Yahshua.

Psalm 130 1 A Song of Ascents. Out of the depths I have cried to You, O Lord; 2 Lord, hear my voice! Let Your ears be attentive To the voice of my supplications. 3 If You, Lord, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand? 4 But there is forgiveness with You, That You may be feared. 5 I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, And in His word I do hope. 6 My soul waits for the Lord More than those who watch for the morning-- Yes, more than those who watch for the morning. 7 O Israel, hope in the Lord; For with the Lord there is mercy, And with Him is abundant redemption. 8 And He shall redeem Israel From all his iniquities.

Yes, ABSOLUTELY...It causes me to Speak in Tongues more than I have in my private prayer life...to pray Perfectly in the Spirit...to worship the Father in spirit & in truth. What a loving, gracious, merciful FATHER, GOD, Almighty, we have. Good to KNOW we shall spend all eternity with HIM & our Master, Yeshua haMasheyak.

let us not take this song out of proper context. This song is indeed beautiful, and does a marvelous job of incorporating scripture. But let us not forget that this song is merely a shadow... the finger pointing to the Lord, but not the Lord Himself. This song is indeed a beautiful song that eases our burdens and allows us to rest for a little while. But we must not become overly infatuated with the beauty of this song. One should remember, it is not the song that we should seek, but the Lord who motivates such songs from our hearts. Let us not get distracted by the beauty. Use this song to comfort yourself and to rest for a little while. But remember to not suggest the song draws one to the Lord, rather it allows us to understand out hearts longing for the Lord. Our hearts seek to be nourished by the One who will make our hearts continuously cry out in such song. I am a little saddened that so many have commented on the beauty of the song, as being the Lord Himself. It is merely the finger that points to the Lord. I say this only because it is such a slippery slope with many today. So many Christians that are not truly circumcised in their heart. I believe those who have made such comments are genuine. I guess I just am starting the argument because in my own life, in my own family, I see so many people not seeing Jesus as Lord, but merely as savior. And they appear to only focus on worldly beauty. But this song is truly wonderful. I would not write what I have wrote if the song was not in a category, at least to my own ears, of only a few worship songs I have ever heard.

I think you're the one out of touch old mate. For starters the Messiahs name was never Jesus....so you go back and do some serious research...while you're listening to Hannys music

you know that this songs text is the actual word of God, from psalm 130. in my bible it says the word was with God, and the Word was God. This song will actually draw you closer to God, because it is the Word of God. I agree we should never worship christian songs. But to show love and affection to God's own Word is what David often sang about in the psalms.
