I spent the Summer of '88 in central Nebraska. I drove a lot of back roads that Summer. The collection shown in this video is unique because of its size, but there are many, many farms in that area with a half dozen old cars and trucks parked in the woodlot behind the barn. The trees gow up very quickly. Big as they are, the trees you see in this video are, at most, 30 or 40 years old.

It’s mine blowing that there are still farms out there! Absolutely one of my favorite things in life! Thanks guys

Sir (?), Why is it so "mind blowing" that there are still farms... especially in the Great Plains?
@guysgt50032 жыл бұрын
@@willhorting5317 Because guys like you have been coming along for 30+ years looting the farms dry and clearing the land. I’m amazed there’s still so many left, when so many people have attacked the Midwest.
@willhorting53172 жыл бұрын
What the heck do you mean, "guys like you"? Make assumptions often do you? You know nothing about me. Especially anything that deserves for you to be saying things like that.....All I did was ask a question......I have never "looted" nor "cleared" any land....In reality, I am from an actual farm family. Beginning as a kid, I helped my parents work the farm for well over forty years, until my health forced me into early retirement ten years ago. One of my adult kids still works the farm...... Anyway, as I said, all I did was ask you why you were so surprised. I won't presume to speak for other Great Plains states. But Kansas (my state) is still mostly family farms, little different than it has been for the past century. So again, I don't understand why you jumped down my throat for asking a simple question sir.
