Something about her story does not pass the smell test. She stated she worked at Amazon but she is no longer employed there. Barring some settlement or workers compensation/litigation issue she: A. Quit Amazon without another job since she did not mention a new full time means of employment. (She mentioned driving so I am assuming Uber/Lyft or multiple food or sundry delivery services) B. She was fired (which is possible but in the current job market and the current need for workers, the offense would have to be highly egregious) C. She was laid off (Again, highly unlikely due to the current job market) A and B are highly probable and both rather irresponsible with 2 children living in a HCOL city with no help from the fathers. In addition, she stated she was well off and had savings. However, she mentioned purchasing a new vehicle and needing "assistance" with it. Why purchase a car you cannot afford even with savings? Lets just note that if a male had an identical story, and an identical living situation, would commenters here be as empathetic to him? Why did we not have the same thought process and energy for the previous interviewee who lived at home with his parents, no children and unemployed/former driver? KTSE fellow humans

She said she stopped working at Amazon in September , which is around the time kids go back to school. I highly likely that her employment was affected by her ability or inability to handle childcare with schools opening and closing last minute because of this virus. This woman seems like she generally makes responsible decisions (not with men obviously, but with doing what it takes to take care of her children) She’s even contemplating taking a pay cut of almost half of what she was making before to get back to work. You should take the energy you’re using to analyze why this woman is no longer working at Amazon to try to figure out how two men are okay or caring when the last time their children ate was, or contributing to it.

She states that she had trouble with men who use her and can't assist her financially. She mentions purchasing a vehicle and asking a man for assistance with paying for it soon after. If she makes good decisions financially and is also "well off" in her words AND has savings in her words: 1. why did she need financial assistance from the guy she was dating to pay in part for a vehicle she bought of her own volition and 2. why would the costs of child care be an issue?

I applaud her… she was honest, she showed her true self and didn’t try to hide, acknowledged her mistakes… can’t really knock her except the unemployment but she’s financially set so I don’t see the issue. I unfortunately communicate through gifts and get the same leeches. It’s a hard habit to break but it’s necessary.
