Pahul bhai very disappointed we all love King Kohli but rules are rules it was a fair delivery because he was out of his crease didn't expect this from you ,even if he was on his toes waist height is measured before the match and point of contact doesn't matter, the height of the ball matters at the popping crease so he could very much be entirely in the air if possible and if it is below waist height at the crease it would still be a fair delivery, Plus talking about standing outside the crease before the ball is bowled isn't a valid point cause that is the batsman choice but it doesn't affect the rules because let's say he plays almost on half pitch (his choice obviously no one would do it) would it still be a no ball obviously not.

And then in the free hit delivery they will stand normally to hit the ball properly .... to avoid this they applied this rule of checking the height at the crease line rather than the stance of the batter .. the rules are clear and for the people inside the crease the same will be applied You might argue that virat was just few inches away from crease and that he was not in the middle of the pitch but rules are rules even it is an inch or a feet the rules are same

Pahul this isn't fair like we did see in this ipl that many players got out in this way but at that time technology was right and even umpires did correct thing but when its Kohli how does everything goes against him.
