OUTBACK DESERT LOOP to Cameron Corner | Noccundra - Dig Tree - Innamincka - Strzelecki Track

The jury has declared that this adventure takes NUMBER 1 spot on our list of FAVOURITES (so far!) The Corner Country is bursting at the seams with red desert landscapes, trees as tough as the land and rivers that are the life blood of the region. This was a life-changing journey that allowed us to discover and appreciate this land along with its rich history, famous explorers, and historic pubs.
Our adventure included the following iconic places:
*Noccundra and the Historic Hotel
*The Burke & Wills Dig Tree
*Innamincka (in South Australia)
*Moomba - An oil town on the Strzelecki Track
*The Old Strzelecki Track with over 200 sand dunes to cross
*Cameron Corner - where NSW, Queensland and South Australia borders meet
*The Dingo Barrier Fence - longest in the world and don’t forget to shut the gate!
We took our time to soak up the atmosphere of the Outback and the freedom that this seemingly limitless landscape offers. The Outback and the desert can definitely hold its own as the perfect holiday destination.
Time to hit the road!

Anyone can open the gate there is no lock, but you just need to shut the gate behind you
