This is rare: A virgin gold nugget patch we found with our metal detectors. Gold nuggets pop up every two steps and we spend more time digging gold than searching for signals.

Very exciting to see you working your patch! Your comment on working the detector "low and slow" really rings true! I have had very good success time and again working over areas that were just detected by impatient people that used "superior" equipment to mine, but were in a big hurry. I find I get more and better targets simply by taking my time. "Don't Panic". The gold has been laying there waiting for thousands of years!

Yes, it is a very interesting point you made about what one 6000 won't pick another 6000 may do. We tried this last year and over one area we found another ounce of Gold! This was with the new coil 7 x 12 on both machines. It was also amazing how we were picking nuggies a foot away from an old digging. 1 time I picked up a piece out of someone else's dig. Btw the Unisex hoodies arrived and they look good. Thank you 😀
