A little hint to swat the flies around your head and keep them from landing. Cut off a small branch of a bush or weed with a lot of leaves on it. It gives you a wider area when you swing it around your face. My mom showed me this when we used to have mosquitos and biting deer flies in the bush. Awesome finds . It's about time you cashed in . When we go camping and the flies are bad, we use Rescue outdoor fly traps. If you can get them there, Maybe you could try them. Instead of shooing the flies away only to have the same ones return over and over, they are contained in the trap, never to escape. We are amazed at how well and how quickly they work. The attractant is also not poisonous. It is made from natural ingredients.

I think the only reason i would leave that place is if the food and water supply run out, im wondering what those flies do when theres no humans to land on, I can imagine them all just waiting outside your camper in the mornings waiting for you to step out, then one of them rings the dinner bell. The Chrissy and Clint feed bank. I think I would be tempted to do night time hunts, just to avoid them. Im glad you've found such an excellent area to detect, and I hope it just keeps getting better! We usually get up before sunrise and can hear the flies hitting the canvas on the camper trailer trying to get inside. Absolutely insane and cooking or eating is impossible until way after sunset.

Another fantastic day detecting, those flies are just insane, it makes you wonder where they come from, without you there what do they eat. the horse flies over here seem to have died of with the cooler nights, still getting small bits out of the sleush but they don't pay the fuel bill at all, I am thinking I might buy a smelter just to see what all the specks add up to in one bit, we shall see, have a good day. Fantastic, my best day was 64 pieces for 21grams, but best of all, they were in an area three square meters. Next morning i got 15 for 16grams within 4 meters area best being 5grams. That was three years back. I am coming out of retirement thanks to you, move over, i will be back over in a month.👍😁

That is one nice patch. Congrats. Those flies are a bit willing. I would use a quick knockdown spray. After a while, they would start thinning out. Yes, Chrissy taking a wee would be a ticklish situation LOL. Good to see you doing so well. Levi did very well also.
