Really good Chrissy it’s great to see more behind the scenes, a lot of viewers would have no idea the amount of challenges and things your faced with out there you did a good job showing and explaining also shows just how remote and isolated, really enjoyed this 👍🏼👍🏼

Best video yet. Really shows what it takes to be successful. Good job Kissy, awesome gold. And thanks for taking us with you and showing the behind the scene everyday stuff like turning around at the swap hole and going without bread. That sneaky snake comes back, you be sure to pop him with a stick, give him what for. Tell it to go catch a mouse somewhere else...🤠

Crissy, I wish to share something with you that is going to seem really far out. I was asked to find where a sewer line was either plugged or damaged. I instructed the owner to water the distance between the house and the street. The next day I came back with some experimental equipment. I had fashioned a fish finder ( humming bird 400) puck to the lower end of a 4 legged walking cane and used a small 12 volt battery to power the display. Moving it around between the house and the street I was able to locate the soil pipe and by watching the display was able to track and find the crushed pipe causing a pinpoint dig area. I have often wondered if using one similar but a bit more advanced on the display to find underground rocks and even possables gold that may have worked it's way into deeper pockets that a detector may not be able to see. As long as the ground is wet the transducer should work giving a fairly good representation of the alluvial bottom and the top of the bedrock . Could give you an insight on those raining days. I have enjoyed your presentations and wish you the best of fortune.

Awesome! The backwoods of Australia look like another planet, so beautiful. Sounds like you have a valve-stem leak? Spray some soapy water on it, if it bubbles you can tighten or replace it. That creek is perfect, especially where the rocks act as Sluice. Thanks for sharing!

A power winch with a decent length of cable would be a wise addition to the vehicle. Then I would research how to use it if there are no obvious places to anchor the other end. (Strong tree). Then again I would have turned back as you did, no point in inviting trouble when patience is the wise move. I punctured my petrol tank on a similar road to Exmouth (Pilbara), and it is zero fun being stuck on an empty road 40 km from safety. That said it is an adventure, you are young and the experiences you are now having will serve you well when your too old (like me) for such adventures. You make very watchable videos, thank you.

Hi Chrissy. Love your channel. Just wanted to let you know that the flying termites are edible and very delicious. You can either dry fry them or with a bit of butter. They are also edible uncooked but alive. When the rains start for us they come out like crazy to mate and then there are those that die. Please try it. A very high source of protein. Just my two cents😊Keep doing what you are doing. We love it. Much love from Kenya 🇰🇪

Thank you so much for the look behind the scenes and the continued awesome content. I dream of reaching that land one day but for now Arizona is my mini version, without half the bugs. 😂 I spent the last winter, summer and now this winter off grid in my motorhome with no ac. I had the option but as you said, it was no fun enjoying it for a bit just to have to acclimate to the outside temps again. I kept it only for the worst of days. I chased the gold every night during the summer to avoid the temps best I could, winter isn’t bad. While I found some amazing gold and truly lived a bucket list section in my life, my soul still itches to see that beautiful land you wander. Thanks so much for a genuine look into a gold prospectors life over that way. Nice job searching out that shiny yellerrrr!

I saw you struggling to find a target and needing a waterproof pin pointer, and wondered why you didnt just put it in a zip baggie when you need it waterproofed. Flash floods are very likely to occur with big rain but not a worry when camping up high like out here. Rivers might not drop for a few weeks which is why there are plenty of supplies here to survive longer periods of isolation.

Wow... what a half hour experience for the uneducated, and a reminder for those with memories... i would guess it one of your best, real life experiences so far... from the weather, the vermin, the scenery, the harshness, determination and rewards, its all there in your real lifes experiences. Well done, and thank you. I read all the comments, its amazing how we can all easily work out how to put a pinpointer in a plastic bag, in after thought👍☺. Hang in there mate, the weather will change eventually, all you have to do is... outlast it

Krissy, you can temporarily make the pin pointer waterproof if you have some thick plastic bag and duck tape, if you have any available. If not, some way to bind the bag so it is sealed, or above the water line.

Very good video Chrissy. That was fun (for us) I can give you a good tip. Seeing as it is no man's land when you stop for lunch remove your shirt and hang it in the shade if there is a breeze. I can guarantee that you will think that bit came straight from a refrigerator. Really revitalizes you. I noticed that this week you had 47C days LOL. That would be fun. Collecting drinking water from that roof would replenish your supplies. The country is looking good.
