ok heres my personal head canon. the monster of this universe is actually a really chill dude and wanted to help bf get revenge on his parents and gf, temporarily corrupting bf, pico and skid and pump while leading gf and father fairest into a trap along with mother mairest so the 3 of them would be trapped. This was bfs ultimate revenge plot and he dosnt feel guilty they had it coming he proceeds to laugh and flip them off saying "revenge is sweet isnt it dad?" then monster happily waves goodbye to bf pico skid and pump as they all walk home.

Just realized what is going on! Ben made the corruption and chooses what it can do. He made it so DD and Grace are nice to him (I assume) and he made his boys (neo, B3, and Pico) corrupted but it doesn't harm them in any way. He probably kept them corrupted so they cant uncorrupt anybody. It's Ben finally having an opportunity to make everything ok and he takes it. That's my theory anyway..
