Whad I did: If your original CTR rom has a bin AND a cue file, you can rename the patched rom to the original name (same as the cue file), and it should appear on the game list as if it was the original CTR!

I keep getting an error after inputting my online username in the client. It says that my Duckstation can't connect to PINE. Thus I'm unable to reach the servers.. do you know why this might be?

If anyone is getting PINE problem after inserting their name. You just need to Enable PINE in advanced settings. Looks like IgorL forgot about it or it was enabled by default in previous versions idk.

Yeah of course, it's hard to cater for all the things that may go wrong. I also had an issue with a version mismatch when trying to join NA servers, but I managed to join EU and South American servers just fine.

Is there any way to potentially run this on a softmodded PS2 slim with a modem? The PS2 slim can use fast disc speed for PS1 games. It's also possible to run the game through the modem even though this might get in the way of bandwidth for the online itself. I am able to connect to the internet through my PC by hooking up the PS2 modem using ethernet cable.

I have no idea, I know there's crossplay for PS2 and PCSX2 but I don't know if it can work for ctr. Best to ask on the discord server

No i don't think you need to be in the latest version And no, splitscreen does not work for online

В общем установил все как в видео, игра запускается, все нормально. Сперва прошел всю игру, вспомнил как там запрыгивать в срезы и т.д. Попробовал поиграть по сети. Что я заметил, из оружия только бомбы которые катятся. При попадании в противника, он прыгает, но скорость его не сбавляется. Потом заметил, что по сути сетевого режим друг против друга и нет, мы просто катаемся паралельно Если заметил, что все кто играет, какие-то профи ... очень странно, я вроде бы тоже что-то умею, но нет прям со старта отрываются и их уже не догнать ... т.к. оружие нет и оно не работает ... В общем обман.

Согласен по поводу оружия. Играть тупо смысла нет, если ты никак не можешь сбить противника.

Just heard back from the discord servers, there are other ppl reporting the same error and it might be caused by the 60FPS patch. If you can patch the game again this time with the 30FPS one
