Scooterboop is the funniest name I've seen someone call this technique. Might start using Aether Tunnel more now Before I was using galeforce because of these reasons: Half the mana It is another source of aoe damage Effective escape option during combat, and can help save allies that aren't able to run away. I might start using Aether Tunnel because that speed is just so insanely good, and gets you back into the next area so fast. Waiting for stamina to regen is what kills me all the time, especially when trying to do anything vertically (and I have the tier 6 upgrade). Aether Tunnel still has the problem that it requires your allies to be paying attention to actually use it, but for soloing stuff, I'm going to grab this every time.

ooh, I wanna add 'super spin' to this as a major flex while landing. While gliding, if you put one hand straight up above your head and the other hand straight down, you will spin as fast as the game will spin you. This works as a nice little flourish as you're just about to land

@@AwakenToast Hmm, I think the fastest would be around 72km/h if I remember correctly, I do think you'd be able to speed up to that though considering your aetheric upgrade tier. We should set up a series of parkours sometime (like fractured plains is fun, but imagine the floating platforms in the desert!) and set up gliding races or something. Although considering I have infinite stam and infinite flight I'd probably just be a referee ofcourse ~ Sono

100% enjoyed the essence mage more. but that's just preference, I really like the long range capability and seeing the full scope of battle. But being right in the face of enemies is super cool too. So just depends on what you vibe with more. I'd test 1 see if you like it, if you're not feeling it switch over to the opposite class and give it a shot 👍

The problem with any sword class in VR is the lack of feedback from sword weight and parries, which results in most people swinging wet noodle arms. The combat systems do a pretty good job at preventing that if you play it properly, but the mage still feels more natural (to me at least) with the ranged attack vs melee.

Like skyrim I have a way to move at exceptional speed, I use Blade master and nothing more satisfying then nearly teleporting with the speed I get in the air to dropping down slashing my foes. Hahaa will be awesome to use in PVP when it is released.

@@Justin-op8us it was patched HARDCORE in beta 2. This scooterboop is madly nerfed from what it was before. I believe that this is more of a method than anything. Cause it’s hard to learn and it also re uses stamina each time you re-glide. So personally I would like to see it stay

yup exactly what I'm saying! As long as your not in combat you can switch to another subclass. I would recommend getting to level 40 on your main class tho because if your main class hits level 40 you get double XP for any other subclass you use 👍 There is a cooldown timer with it too tho, so don't freak out when you can't switch back. It's like 2-3 minutes or something

Could be analog drift on your controller. If you have drift that’s holding you backwards that is a BIG factor

Please for the love of everything holy do you know what the deal is with the skills that don't have lvl requirements? I play tank blademaster and I have 3 skills with no lvl requirements and can't find ANYWHERE where to get them I'm lvl 23

some of the abilities are shown but they aren't for your subclass. So basically some of the one's that are locked because they are meant (for instance) the blademaster DPS or blademaster support, etc

And if they are abilities that you should have. Then that could potentially be glitched due to you leveling too fast. If you did any level exploits or turned in quests in later areas on a different subclass. That can cause you to earn too much XP in a short amount of time that causes the game not to recognize you ever unlocked it

this can work with strafe! I actually was teaching another player the other night about it and he was able to do the same thing using strafe! As long as you're not using basic I assume heading may work aswell, I just majorly prefer sensitive cause that's how I've maximized the scooterboop speed
