As of the 3/15 beta update you can no longer dodge the charge by baiting Piggus around the large junk pile because he'll just pathfind around until he's got a clear shot at you. Best way to dodge the charge now is to bait him onto smaller junk piles or fences.

What's lately with the bosses that just exhaust and disappear after you beat them? Why aren't we killing them like any other being in this world? Are they very important to the plot? It doesn't seem so.

Yeah the devs said in their stream last week that this NPC will have its own arc and progression, so it makes sense thematically that it doesn’t straight up die.

But there isn’t really a gimmick compared to other bosses. Regular werepig has 2 attacks, a stun period, and you gotta free him to fight him and make him destroy the pillars for dreadstone. And the all that garbage seems so out of place. It’s a weird design choice
