I love the darker rug. It looks warm and cozy. The plants look great. I love how relaxed and tranquil it looks. I bet the sounds of the chimes, water features and birds make it a comfy place to relax.

Love your patio and ideas you have. ❤ Here in the Carolina(s) I noticed some people here don't just get rid of their old patio rugs. Those large rugs are used on the garage flooring. Great idea to keep the flooring clean. They just move their vehicles out of the garage and use the leaf blower for quick and easy clean up!

You can use CLR on the stains in the concert. It will dilute to almost nothing when you rinse it so no worries for the fur babbies ! Great video as always.🥰

Just saw your channel. Love your patio and all the decor. I did the same thing this year with the fresh basil plant from the grocery store. I separated each individual stem and planted in good potting soil. From the one original 4" pot I've got 3 huge 10"-12" pots of Basil now, and they are all flourishing beautifully. I will definitely do that each year now. I'm in Zone 5a in eastern Ontario, Canada, so they won't survive outside during the cold months. If I had the space and the right light I could bring the pots inside in the Fall. Never too old to learn something new! :) ~~M~~

Randi, we live in Arizona where the sun is brutal on patio furniture. You might want to consider buying Sunbrella outdoor rugs. It's the best we've found for both rugs and patio furniture. Pricey, but worth it.

We just finished power washing our patio and fountain. Need to get some more flowers for some of the pots. Did you know you can take geraniums and just stick the stem into the soil and it will survive and grow. The flowers you called periwinkle I have always called vincas. Looks ready for enjoying on your patio.

We don’t have ash but have yellow pine pollen that has covered everything…waiting to clean till it’s over. We have had so much rain here would love to share with you! And like you said to wash the ash makes it clump …well we got clumping pine pollen and it’s smeared everywhere..lol Your geraniums are just beautiful they remind me of my grandmas…one year she had one come up to her shoulders. We are in central wisconsin and she took them in every winter. I try every year and just don’t have the geranium thumb., which I was trained as a master gardener 🤷♀️. This years was looking nice and a deer decided to have a snack! Your patio looks great, looking forward to getting out and working on ours…but 2 more days of rain in our future.

Your geraniums seem to do well in part sun and I've been wondering if I could put one of mine that I grew from clippings in part sun. I'm going to give it a whirl. I also liked how you went after the overgrowth and they seem to bounce back well. Always an inspiration and every Friday I look forward to eating my lunch at my desk and watching your videos!

After years of trial and error growing herbs, I have the best success with basil growing it in the ground, instead of pots. I separate and spread roots but keep the cluster. If you've got a spot for it, might be worth a try.

Love your patio! So functional. I have gotten wrought iron rust stains off of concrete with full strength lemon juice. ( 2 pack @Costco) Pour it on , let it set, give it a brush scrub. Might have to do it a couple of times. Mine removed completely. Nonetheless, everything looks pleasing!
