Aww, soo cute- "Rosemary"!😁 LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your herb garden! Just love the green accents! I just love how you bring your make up back ground into, not only the materials (like how you created the chalk paint) but also how create your faux finishes. I'm sure your ability to blend and create finishes is due in some part to your skills with make up! And how adorable is your little fountain segway between DIYs! So pretty! And OMG! How cute is your adorable little crooked ladder! And FREE too! And once again, just blown away by your finish tips and results on the signs! What a JOY collabing with you! Can't wait for next time!!💗💗💗👏👏👏😊😊😊😘

Thank you Maggie! I wanted my channel to be even more helpful in helping people save money, because Dollar Tree items can add up and some people don’t even have that to spend on a craft if they want to craft every week. Sometimes you have to spend money, because you want maybe a very specific or expensive look, but I love the way the lock down is forcing crafters to think more the way I have always tried to craft. Using things from home and items you would normally throw away. I have seen some really impressive crafts come from the crafters on KZbin lately, and I think it’s a blessing because our landfills are definitely under duress! Thank you for such a sweet comment! Happy Mother’s Day to you too my friend! 😘🥰❤️❤️

I am so glad to have found truly talented crafters here on youtube. I must go to the home goods stores and ask for free wood and oops paint. lol My favorites today were the herb planters and the signs on the ladder. I love the way you take paint and create years of wear - amazing!! I feel the need to say this and I say with the kindest intentions. I don't know if you're aware that you're pronunciation of herbs is incorrect but, in case you're not, herb is pronounced with a silent "h" - erb. I'm just saying this because I would want someone to kindly let me know. Love you, mean it!
@HotHumblePie4 жыл бұрын
Hi Sandra! Lol, aww, the person that told you it’s pronounced with a silent H is both correct and incorrect. Even though we speak English in America we took the H and made it silent. It’s one of those American things we do that irritate the English to no end, 😂 However in the UK, and parts of America, the H is pronounced, so either way is correct. It’s kinda like the word route in the song Route 69. So many Americans pronounce it r-owt, but that pronunciation actually means “to run away in a disorderly fashion” 😂😂. However either pronunciation is considered correct, just as with herbs. I prefer herbs with the H sound in front of it. Thank you for the sweet comment and for watching. Have a beautiful mother’s Day weekend my friend! 😘🥰❤️❤️

I just got the warmest, fuzzy feeling watching this.... That one with the coffee cans, welllll, I drink coffee, but my kind comes in plastic, but about 7 years ago, I moved 4 hours away from my momma, my 7 siblings and my baby girl to be next door to my NOW almost 91 yr old grama, who needed help at the time with my granddaddy who had alzheimers..... Welllll, in there storage building in the back yard, my granddaddy had allllll these coffee cans that he'd keep nails and screws and drill bits, etc.... in and he'd label them all. Well they are obviously now all rusted, which I LOVEEEEE, and I've gone over and gotten a couple of them but you just gave me a reason to wanna go grab a few more! {I'll just dig up something else to dump all the little "do-dads" into.....} I absolutely LOVE using his super old and rusty stuff for my crafts. {I'm a SUPER sentimental person....} Now if I can just get some INK for my printer that will actually WORK, that'd be awesome! Lol. I've got 4 new ink cartridges and my stupid printer won't recognize them. 🤔 ANYHOO, I may can find some pages from an old book somewhere around here! And HEYYYYY.... What did you say that scrap wood is called that has the little groove cut out of it? I was trying to explain it to my hubby a couple of days ago but I feel sure I totally butchered that entire conversation because he had NO CLUE what I was talking about. Lol. {and he's done EVERY SINGLE KIND of construction there is lol}. Anyhoo, TFS..... XO from TEXAS! 🤠 😘

Momma Bear Lisa hi! I love warm fuzzy feelings! I’m so glad you got them from the vid! How sweet is that. Please do use your grandpa’s coffee cans. What a wonderful way to be able to see them every day and have those warm feelings! The wood is called dunnage blocks. They use them to wrap a belt around the plywood with. That’s why there’s a groove. However once they cut the strap off they throw that wood away. They get rid of all the plywood that is not good for sale too. This wood makes excellent crafting supplies! Love your projects. I don't any power tools but love wood diys. Picked up a new board out of someone's trash the other day. So exciting. Where do u get the metal coffee cans?
@HotHumblePie4 жыл бұрын
I just started using power tools, which is why I probably cut the stool by accident LOL. They make such a difference between you getting really tired and not being able to craft very long and being able to get things done fast. It makes it more fun! The cans are coffee cans from my husband drinking way too much coffee😂. Thank you for watching my friend! 😘🥰

Thank you Marta! So good to see you again my friend! I am looking very forward to your next video as well! Thank you for the sweet complements! I’m not used to doing a whole lot of outdoor decor (I usually buy it 😁), this was so much fun and different for me. I think I will venture into outdoor decor more often now, cause I love how everything turned out. So glad I met you too! 😘🥰

Hi Melanie! 😂😂 I am a lazy gardener! I made the decision last year to put a brick patio down, rocks, bark, ceramic figurines, super big rocks, wood log pieces like driftwood chunks, a fountain and solar lanterns. A herb garden in a small contained container is about as far as I can go. Lol! It was so worth it and I am so pleased with my results. Totally low maintenance and beautiful! We love sitting out in the backyard now. I even bought some of those round lights on a string and put them around a patio cover. Kind of like what you see at weddings. I totally support you if you decide to go in this same direction! It’s also good if water is in short supply. Much love to you my friend and thank you for watching! 🥰😘❤️❤️

Absolutely adorable! You are so creative and talented!!! What was the name of the scrap wood again, dungee??
@HotHumblePie4 жыл бұрын
Dawn Hutchinson Dunnage blocks. They use them to wrap a belt around the plywood with. That’s why there’s a groove. However once they cut the strap off they throw that wood away. They get rid of all the plywood that is not good for sale too. This wood makes excellent crafting supplies! Thank you for watching Dawn! Have a beautiful weekend my friend!

The grooved wood would make a good sign stand!
@HotHumblePie4 жыл бұрын
Dawn Hutchinson exactly! I use it to hold up my bunny sign in my Easter video and I plan on using it to hold other signs as well. Well done you! Most people haven’t noticed that yet! It even has big ink prints on it that say things like made in the USA. It is a perfect stand for a rustic farmhouse sign! You have a very creative mind I can tell. What fun we would have if you lived near me! ❤️❤️❤️❤️🥰😘

Where do you get the cute little “coffee” cans. I have a few but they have my parents bits stored in them. One has curtain hardware another screws nails and nuts. There from the sixties and seventies. I would love to have some for my own treasures.

Those are WalMart brand coffee cans, lol. Kirkland are also really nice. Taller. You can get on Amazon. Thanks or watching! xox

Pre tinted paint at home depot is called oops paint, it's what people return or just is not the correct color, etc.

Hi Kim. I found out it varies from state to state. Thanks for watching! xox

You are very informative! No skipping ahead on your video because of course the content is great but who wants to miss your tips and tricks! I wonder if those of us without power tools could get the lumberyard to make those cuts for us (free or cheap?). P. S. I ordered talc online for the chalk paint because all I have are four containers of baby cornstarch lol! Also, Oh those weird comments below look like robot commenters, never mind those. There is even a video on YT about them!
@HotHumblePie4 жыл бұрын
I appreciate that! Very nice comment! Make sure to wear a mask when working with talc, or any craft ingredient that becomes airborne. They are all definitely not good for us to breathe in on a long term basis. Some lumber places will cut. That even varies from one Home Depot to another! It's all up to the manager and how nice or not nice he is. All you can do is ask. For the rungs I cut them down the middle. Forgot to say that, but they made awesome rustic rungs! Much love to you my friend! cox

Great ideas! Just FYI, when I looked on Amazon, the carbon paper & painters pen were both over $7. Guess the prices are up with the demand!?
@HotHumblePie4 жыл бұрын
Ah really? 😒 I noticed they do that on Amazon when their sales jump up. I can’t tell you how many times you tubers tell me they paid a certain amount for jute cord or wood beads and when I click on the link they are either sold out or the price has gone up. So unfair! Thank you for watching my friend! Have a beautiful weekend! 😘🥰❤️❤️
@MissMolly33773 жыл бұрын
Those same paint pens are at Wal-Mart. The one in my area carries them, anyway. I am sure they probably have carbon paper, as well, though I don't know how cheap it would be there.
