I usually mat pages. I just like how it makes the decorative paper POP. I love how this page looks with that mat.

I like the pops of yellow as they add lightness to the pages & tone in with the bright coloured scrub behind Isabella on the left page. I also like that you did three banners on the left page & three triangles on the right page as well as your three strips for writing on, plus like you, I thought that bordering the fish paper gave it a frame which I think that paper pack needed or the fish would have swum off the page!! 😂

Thank you, I think they did. The boyfriend is a big fan of fishing, so I think Bella will be going out on the lake quite a bit.
