The pogues not being all together to find el dorado was such a let down… i don’t understand why they wrote it that way. Can you imagine how much more entertaining and chaotic it would’ve been if JJ was in that cave 😂

Sarah won the episode to me, she was so strong in this one and Madelyn’s performance was great. I really loved Kie this season. She was super patient and empathetic. Episode 5 and 9 were my faves 🥰

At first I was really upset when they jumped ahead 18 months out of nowhere. But, apparently there’s going to be a lot of flashbacks and explanation about what happened during that time in season 4. I heard that the first 3 seasons were their own arc and the last two or three, depending on how many they decide to have, are another arc. It actually does make sense that they’d want the teenagers to actually be adults now.

i think the fact that there now have to be flashbacks makes me like the time jump even less 🙃 (also lowkey this show already does a lot of “tell dont show” and this is just gonna add to that grr) they shouldve just made more time pass by over the past 3 seasons

I cheered when big John died lol I don’t get how the audience was supposed to feel empathy for him. And the lack of jiara, popecleo was so disappointing :(

Season four is going to be the season where the 18 month jump is going to come in to play. They’re going to do a lot of flashbacks to show you what happened in between the jump of 18 months.

Am I the only one that loved this episode? Like, it would’ve been cool to see all the pogues together discovering the gold but at the same time I like that it was just Sarah and John B.

So the 18 months was to age everyone up so they are now 18 yrs old. Jonas Pate ( director/writer) says we will see more of what happened in the 18 months and that season 1,2,3 were one storyline and season 4,5,and 6 will be another. Here is to hoping we will get a season 5 and 6!

Omg I just realized Blackbeard is the name of Hugh Jackmans character in the movie PAN! Also by now they would all be at least 18. Season one was 16 so they gonna grow up throughout the seasons

In an interview with Jonas Pate (creator of the show) after the season came out he said they did the time jump because of them being young, so with all of them being 18+ now don’t have to worry about school, their parents, etc so it will give the opportunity for the 4th season storyline to explore way more with the pogues.

If notice the ones that have died from the curse were the ones who were doing it for greed. The teen Pogues weren't in it for the greed it was searching answers first for John B's with Big Johns disappearance/death and then being about Popes ancestors heritage. The ones that were all about greed and willing to kill for it that was there did end up dead (Carlos Sing, Ward, and Big John). The kids, yes, they got money out of it, BUT they also respected and appreciated the history behind it and gave the artifacts, the diary, some gold and etc. to the museum.

THANK YOU!!! That's exactly how I felt about episode 10! I mean, it was enjoyable to watch but Pope, Cleo, JJ and Kie could've just stayed behind in the OBX and the episode would have been exactly the same... what was the point of them being there? I definitly didn't like that! Ward's story was over so I didn't mind him dying. Didn't like Big John... so I didn't mind him dying. Just felt sad for John b... Don't have a favorite character this season. But I guess overall it was JJ and liked John b too this season. Just wish there had been more Pogue friendship this season... Fav eps are ep 5 and 9!!

Apparently drew was in the finale and was not processing the ward thing very well and swore revenge on the pogues. But the scene got cut. I believe Jonas said that in an interview but i could be mistaken

Ward calling those guys was the mistake in protecting Sara but I can tell he was trying to learn how to be a good guy. Show won’t be fun without him( plus I like Charles Esten as ward)

Yeah in my opinion I thought this season was alright pretty good but definitely a step down to the first two seasons and for me my ranking is Season 1 still the best season then Season 2 then Season 3 and Season 3 is not even terrible it's just not that good in my opinion and I hope they step it back up for Season 4 because I'm still gonna watch the show but a little bit begrudgingly.

Chase Stokes (John B) was asked at the tudum event if he can give us a lil something about what season 4 is about and he basically said that next season will pretty much be the pogues slowing down, reflecting on everything that has happened to them and them finding El Dorado, and lastly he also said the pogues will be dealing with the consequences and everything else that come with finding something as big as El Dorado which I think is what will bring the action scenes for next season, but besides that with the pogues slowing down hopefully we get scenes of all the pogues together as in season 1 and 2 which I definitely would love

Ward does make a good point on John not treating his son right( using him not actually focused on his son- ward was bad for a while too but he is actually changing and I was sad Ward died cause he was a great antagonist and I have some sympathy for ward and can tell he now deep down has had a heart( only went with them to keep Sarah safe))

In an interview with Jonas Pate (creator of the show) and Drew Starkey (rafe) Jonas said that they killed ward to make rafe the main villain next season, we have gotten ward being the antagonist and rafe just in the shadow behind him doing anything for ward, so killing ward and with rafe doing anything for his father it gives rafe the opportunity to become the main villain and get his payback on the pogues, Drew also said that they did film a scene where Rafe did confront the pogues about wards death for season 3 and it was intense but last minute it didn’t make the cut and he believes it didn’t so they can start off next season with something similar or the sex’s for rafe season 4 storyline

Season 3 finale definitely sucked I only enjoyed Pope and Cleo's moment. I feel like all the pogues should've found the gold together. But Season 4 will show everything that happened before those 18 months, and Season 5, if they get another season, is probably when they will go looking for the gold again 🙃 Nobody stood out to me this season, but Pope and Cleo will always be my top two favorites Episode 5 favorite episode it was hilarious 😂

Season 4 will be about the new treasure/adventure that the pogues were asked to help find in the last scene. I don’t think I’ll be looking for the gold again since the cave is destroyed.

I’ve been making my way quickly through your vids to get to season 4 - and dudeeee, this is the worst finale in the show by far. One of my worst episodes in my opinion. Everyone acted their asses off, but Sihng is not scary, Big John is a complete bore and an asshole, Ward was predictable, and the Pogues were useless! If they wanted some huge emotional send off for the two dads, we should have seen Big John actually be a dad to John B, but he never was the entire season. He just traumatized his kid again and again and then died! And then they put Jiara and Clope together - both of which I am obsessed with - and then sidelined them the whole episode. This is the one episode when I do rewatches that I actually think about skipping because I personally find it so boring. I loved your commentary though! Sorry for the rant on a year old video 😂😅
