That Jiara moment was one of my favorite scenes in this season. In general, the scenes with Kiara and JJ are absolutely heartwarming. Madison in particular put some emotions into some of this scenes. And i'm glad they made it clear, that Kie didn't and will not forgive Rafe. This is a very important point. Both had chemestrie together, but not that kind of "i forgive a person who did such bad things". Doesn't fit the character Kiara either. She has some moral values and she deserves better. I love Rafe, but as the Villian.

Madison and Drew carried the season. Found the dynamic of Rafe and Kiara the most interesting of the season. Rafe wants someone to understand him and needs help, he opened up to Kiara about his crimes. He wants KIE to not see him as a monster.

From the way Drew and Madison are talking about it, it really seems like they did not mean to have the chemistry that they ended up having. It's just naturally compelling. You know a lot of people just love that enemies to lover energy cause it's INTERESTING. I really think they could explore it- either through the kook year flashbacks or the time jump, I think they can do it. You can tell the writers see it and this is their job- they want to do what they know will get the most attention. These two will. Chemistry like this truly is rare man. They have the special "it" thing ya know? It makes it funnier how Drew and Madison didn't realize it even though I thought they were all in on it and purposely putting in that tension. I still wonder why Rafe and Kiara acted like THAT with each other... it could've been less intense with the long stares so yeah! I call BS actually

Id probably like to see an enemies to friends, and a whole backstory reveal, since she was Sarah´s bff they definitely have a connection to come up with with Rafe

I found the storyline about Kie and Rafe one of the most interesting this season. Because they are people of two different worlds that eventually collide and they get the opportunity to think that they might not know each other as they thought, that it doesn’t have to be always black or white. It would be a great enemies to lovers but it doesn’t work out at least more interaction between them.

It's fun that they explore new dynamics like Rafe and Kiara, and Drew and Madison have amazing on screen chemistry and really should have more scenes together, but to me it's pretty pointless if it's just left hanging like a loose thread and just there for "shock value"... And there is no narrative reason it had to be precisely Kiara which is kind of annoying. That is very recurring on this show, that there are these scenes that lead nowhere for the characters and don't build up to anything or push the story. Like the fact that they teamed up could've been a good dramatic conflict for Kie with the Pogues, give us insight maybe into her life as a kook when she was younger and Rafe was there, maybe she could've given Sarah a better perspective on her brother or at least the relationship between them two change a little... A lot of possibilities and none were grabbed. Instead there are just disconnected pieces that make up a season, I didn't like s3 bc of that bc the previous seasons at least felt more consistent / cohesive. I haven't seen 8-10 yet but I think 7 eps give more than enough basis. Like stories where there are basically no consequences become pretty boring and hard to finish.

Yes!! Especially the part where they specifically chose Kiara for this episode? Why not Sarah (good sibling rebuilding perhaps) or Pope (intense rivalry, but Pope is typically very rational apart from post-cross burning)??? So they just randomly chose Kie for this sequence and we’re not supposed to analyze this controversial choice? Lol. The writers definitely fumbled that one. Though I did hear in another interview that the writers kind of regretted Kie pushing Rafe in the water and potentially wanted their scenes to be longer. They gotta make it make sense!!! 🥴

Because why else do the character and story choices feel so off and undeveloped. this is gonna be an essay probably lmao I wish the writers gave us more of Rafe and Kiara this season.I really got excited for the boat but I do understand why she couldn't stay it would be so out of character. But HEARING THE CREATORS themself say that they wish they did more with them this season- SUCKS to hear hahaha. But yeah, I am not sure how they could get Kie and Rafe in scenes together like this again without disrupting the flow of the show. I mean what are the odds they get paired again in a plot in season 4? Still, I really hope somehow, we can see these two again. I don't know why I love the pair so much but I guess it's the setup- the characters are very well written and interesting, especially rafe, so they hit the jackpot with bringing these two together and making them figure out how to escape. chef's kiss. I really thought we'd get a scene of Rafe showing up where Kie is and telling her off, they could start fighting, but he says nothing. I just really see Kiara being someone he suddenly feels he needs to prove himself to- that he isn't a monster. He already did that slightly, though Drew doesn't say necessarily what the true motive was in that scene where he became vulnerable with kiara, which makes it interesting- What I feel like the creators should have done is 100% have a kook year episode, I mean I thought we were getting that when we saw Sarah in her school uniform but nope. I know the actors look a little older now but idk. I just wish they had more of the hs drama too. Imagine Rafe even sacrificing himself for kiara in some high stakes situation. or like, or he tries to kiss her in a moment of tension and then kiara freaks out. you guys get my point lol there are many interesting storylines that will make ppl not look away from the screen, it is TV afterall. ugh

I think that they knew though- because back in season 1 they had a scene with that exact longing stare and tension. I find it interesting when actors work together and have this insane chemistry- in my opinion it's rare for it to feel this natural, and with a spark. He tried to kill her and her friends multiple times, she was obviously disturbed at how quickly he was to violence when they got in the back of that truck. i didn't enjoy season 3 😢 especially from ep3 to 9 i didn't like it at all. But the last episode was good. I highly prefer season 1 and 2 i can watch both season in a day but season 3 took me 4 days to watch. Evey episode didn't have cliff hangers at all, didn't like that also

Yeah, much of it i didnt like ad much too as before, the writing was kinda sloopy and chaotic and didnt lead to much. Hope it gets more menaingful and more heart in the next season but i read the writers want to stretch it as much as possible and honestly that shouldnt be the reason for making film. Riara doesnt quite make sense. There’s no redemption for everything rafe has done. It would only be if kiara becomes the bad guy. But also, her character has been pushed by many guys. With jiara you make sense that kie has always been the closest to jj outside of her romances, so her having always been in love makes sense. As well as jj always taking special attention to her. If you push kiara again to a guy she didn’t have a relationship with, then she just becomes a character that is pushed to another man every season. There’s many reasons why riara makes no sense. Also his fixation with fucking up pope feels racially charged, kie turning a blind eye would be awful.
