Rafe is a villain but he is the most compelling and the best actor on the show. Kiara is the best character and her arc with Rafe, Sarah and her parents were amazing this season. The two most compelling characters.

Ep9 on repeat since February 23rd. Not only the kiss scene but the whole episode is just …mind blowing. All of them was amazing, them on the plane, JJ finding a way to get Kiara out of the camp, Rafe saving his father when he was the one wanting him killed…everything came together in this episode, way more then it did in the last one.

when madelyn and madison talk about their characters u can see they love acting and it's fun listening to them. rafe and kie were the best characters this season and jiara moments carried the show

I truly loved jj and kie moment in this episode. It was special for sure. Him saving her, being her family when her own parents sent her away, then finally say ‘I love you’ to each other. And the kiss🥹 it was all so genuine and sweet and heartwarming🥰 they are definitely happier together❤️

Episode 9 was just incredible in so many different ways, and this breakdown is again just really great, thank you so much. I definitely agree with Madison that her and Rudy created something really cool, I don't think anyone is forgetting that scene anytime soon (or ever!).

I love Jiara but I wish there was more of a slow burn. I mean there was tension between the characters in the previous seasons but I felt like the producers knew that the fans wanted Jiara to happen so they let them kiss. But Kiara was always saying "no pogue on pogue" and then suddenly she wants to kiss JJ and she doesn't care anymore about that rule or about Popes feelings. I felt like it happened so fast, even though they only kissed in episode 9. I wish there was more teasing, more flirting and more heartfelt moments between these two. It didn't feel forced but kind of rushed.

I love the Jiara moments and don't want to miss them. But I know what you mean but see it a little differently . Sometimes it feels like the wrong time. Aside from the feelings he developed for her, he had to fight so many demons after the island. I have a feeling that the relationship would have been better at another point in time. And I don't understand why they didn't refer back to Season 1 or 2. JJ has had feelings for Kiara and has expressed them. But it was built up as if he didn't know anything about these feelings anymore. Before this season started, I thought they're going to have a flashback where they were even kids and he was already adoring her.

Exactly my feelings. Like I have adored them since season 1, but this season was just kinda rushed with them?? Like I missed their banter and then it would have been nice to see some flirting from both parts, just slowly getting there and JJ could have still had his whole back tracking on being with her, because he thinks he is nothing.. And it would have been fine to have a kiss between them like episode 9 or 10. Like that would have been fine. But Kie saying I love you twice to him?? and him saying it back, just felt so rushed, sadly.

the two are still friends from what i’ve heard. Rudy dances around the Jiara subject as well as making minimal public contact w madison because a lot of people are harassing and belittling his gf because of jiara. I don’t think it’s that he doesn’t like it, just that he doesn’t want there to be more complications for his personal life as well as mads and his gf

rudy also has like a bad anxiety disorder apparently which is why he hasn’t been in many interviews and seems like super off in all of them. Madison just posted a video of him and a photo of the two of them on her insta, so i think they just keep their friendship out of the public cuz of the harassment

JJ and Kie felt so rushed. Once they got together it was anticlimactic. I love how Drew, Madison and Austin talk about their characters though. Kiara saying “Yo TOPP” in one of the episodes still makes me laugh.

It wasn't rushed AT ALL, you can literally tell that jj likes kie from szn 1 and they had a LOT of tension at the end of season two also how they were in poguelandia for a month so they obviously got closer. You can tell it was slow burn if you re-watch the show

@@Hyunjinsdroppedcake I am a fan of those two as well, like since season 1. But it did kinda go from like 40% to 100% in very few conversations. And then a I love you as well? It did kinda feel a little less genuine than the other two seasons. and yes, they clearly did get closer on the island, but we did not really get to see any of them on the island, so thats a whole missed chapter, which also plays into it going forward. So it was a little rushed, compared to where they were season 2 and where we opened up season 3. And they basically had nothing else going for them during the season, but them as an item, which kinda sucked as well.

@@Saintly1234 i honestly don't know if Kie ever liked Pope. Like whenever they had any romantic stuff happening it's just felt so awkward and uncomfortable 😅😅 But yeah. Kie and JJ definitely needed to talk about other things than just them as well? To like see them start to like the person they are and the things they care about. Like instead of only trying to talk about their feelings. Like the one where they talk about it being weird in the boat was great and then the one right after was great as well, where JJ apologize for calling her a kook, but they should have kept it there in the feelings department and then just showed them actually being friends despite the weirdness of feelings developing underneath.

I'm still wondering why JJ didn't get any girl until now! Like, where did he get his affection and tenderness? Not from his dad, I mean... People dealing with violence in their day-to-day life tends to seek solace where they can, in wrong places sometimes... Feel like he would have act kind of like a womanizer, seeking random hook ups to make him feel better, even for a brief moment. Love, he doesn't know, but... The rest? We saw him with a girl in the pilot, and that's all... I'm mot buying that he was saving himself for Kiara all this time! lol.. That's kind of deceiving, if we're talking JJ's love life / relationship in general.

When exactly would JJ have time to have any other girl? It has been shown that all three of the boys had a crush on Kie but they had that Pogue rule. JJ had other girls. He found solace in hos friends which is why hes the one always trying to keep the crew together. We don't know much about his mom but his tenderness could've come from her or its just innate or the love hes gotten from Popes mom

I'm not gonna deny that kie is a ungrateful Brat to her parents, but after hearing about all the things come out about camps Like this. I was disturbed. And to have her taken there in the way they did after she tells them she was kidnapped. That was the first time in season 3 I thought Kie mom ,and dad are bad parents.

in s2 i would agree a bit with you but this season? not at all. this season ever since she came home from the island she’s been trying to gain trust with her parents, she listened to them and was honest with them about what she wanted, they were the ones that though she was lying and mentally unstable or something. i get that they’re worried parents but after what they did to her they lost credibility.
