I recently had one of my good college buddies over my house. I was telling him how I started a KZbin Channel and had been doing some Maxpedition Reviews. Realizing he's a Maxpedition fan, I knew he had some gear, and not surprising he had his Pygmy Falcon II EDC with him. So he asked if he could do a review...think I was gonna say no? So here it is...

I like the bottom part also very much. in your case, you can acces the sunglass case, without taking off the bag. thats why thon lower part is so great! i carry a rain poncho there while hiking. 2 seconds on my head....

It's definitely a great feature being able to strap things on the outside in a compact and tidy manner...Maxpedition gear is great. I like Vanquest a bit more, but they both have different designs and features.

I was going to say it would be a good spot to roll up your raincoat or poncho. Then when your done roll it up there so it doesn’t get your items in the bag wet.

Great review with good points, in fact I may get rid of my vanquest TRIDENT 21 and go for a MAXPEDITION PYGMY FALCON II.

I used to be a huge Maxpedition fan...this review was actually narrated by my buddy. But, over time I have grown to appreciate Vanquest more and more. High level of customer service and they work closely to listen to their customers. That goes a long way for me. I'm not certain I would buy a Maxpedition product over Vanquest at this point to be honest.

Great vid, I have this bag too. It's a great product like many of their items. Being in the city I would add a few 3M N95 mask. Just a suggestion and enjoyed the video.

it's a light thing. it's hard to get the colors accurate with the rediculous lights I have! I'll get better lighting someday, I promise! but for now, this is what I have. .. thanks for watching!

Yes he does! I think he's had it for almost 5 years now...I'll be seeing him on Friday and I'll get the answer...he's got the bag with him at all times...but I'm fairly certain it's still in perfect condition...thanks for writing!

Sorry for the delayed response...was a way a couple days. But yes, that bag would be ideal for travel on a plane...not to big, not too small. Fit nicely under the seat...I think it would work very well.

+Radim Radim Like most things, I'd say it comes down to personal preference. The two bags are quite different both in function and style. I've never carried the Pygmy Falcon and can't honestly say I'd be able to give you an opinion. All I can tell you is that I carry the Dragon Egg every day and I like it very much.
