I took another 2 weeks off of only doing baseball practice and hitting off the tee occasionally with a few workouts and some baseball videos. Deciding that tomorrow, im going to Stretch, Hit off the tee, Workout, Watch Information videos Sometime during the day, And if i can I'll have my dad shoot me flyballs in the outfield through our machine. Just needed a minute to re-energize, heal, and get back into the flow.

Yes! #3. Outfielders have to be confident and aggressive in calling the ball so the infielder knows you have it. Do it a couple times and no more miscommunication. Take charge!!!

Such great points! The last tip opponent's running in your face occurs more often than you think. At least in fast pitch softball. We were recently beaten by a team where we outplayed our opponents- the only reason they won was their aggressive base running. I believe they stole 8 times on us usually in odd situations not passed balls or direct steps. We were playing too lax and too slow to get the ball back to pitcher so completely legal steals. We somehow didn't learn from the first or second time they ran in our face. We acted surprised to the very end. There's no excuse, we should be protecting the bases any time a runner is on but also it's such an easy adjustment to make. Anticipate the runner to steal at every chance. Never turn your back to the runner.

just want to say thanks a lot coach. getting ready to head into my second season of men’s softball but your tips are mostly transferable from baseball and help clean up my game (never played for a baseball team before joining my softball team just general play with buddies but you’ve stepped my game up) keep it up i love seeing the new videos over a year later

Ya I’m kinda nervous but also confident I can do good as well. I’m gonna take your advice and just work on the basics to keep the memory going and try to keep a good confident mind set plus the coatch heard about that I wanted to play for him a couple months before registering for try outs and he emailed me about it and as well with the forms and we have been taking so I feel that’s a good sign in hopes he likes me.
