Yes please. Buy and wear the correct size. NO ONE EVER thinks about your size. How well it fits is the key. I remember many times selling a way too tight mother of the bride dress (part time job in college) and cringing. Mom refused to go up a size and look fabulous because she was stuck on a number. Plus sizing is unreliable. I have 3 pairs of jeans from J Crew-all in different sizes. Look elegant and chic when buying the fit!

I agree with you, Anna. Mainly i go for well put together look, like classic Chanel dresses but i also like sporty , and also something more edgy look, like i just purchased the attico jumpsuit, and its quite baggy, and it can be worn very sporty, but my main look was to pair with Mugler black sheer top body, so yep thats so different from my overall style 🤪 but dont get me wrong, well put together look is nice , but sometimes you can get bored with the same style😝Have a blessed day 🙏🧡

Great tips! I agree that white, off white and beige mixed and /or matched always look so rich, as does navy. I have loved wearing navy or dark shirts over white since the 6th grade. A boy I has a crush on at summer camp gave me his black sweat shirt with his team logo on it and I wore it over my white shorts and sneakers. That navy silk dress you have is to die for! I really like silk shirt but I have never worn one or have one since silk has given out a mature impression and seems a bit too smart, however I really like how you style the silk shirt with jeans and high heels with long lace. I love silk and get as many items in it as I can. It’s actually a highly resilient and wrinkle-resistant fabric. If you hang up a silk garment, the wrinkles mostly fall out overnight, at most a light steaming is all that’s needed. I do iron my new silk garments and scarves, otherwise the packing creases might not come out, but after that they don’t need ironing. Washing works, too, but I try to keep washing to a minimum. I always wash my silks on my machine’s hand-wash setting, take them out immediately and hang them, they look great. I only send them to the dry cleaner if they get a spot, they can’t be treated as aggressively as on other fabrics, but dry cleaners have access to solvents and processes that we don’t at home and can get amazing results.

You can tell a lot about people by the way they dress. Good observers will notice every detail of your outfit, especially if youre telling them something. What you wear is very definitely a huge percentage of what they will remember as your energy. If someone is in a suit, or if someone is in uniform, or if they are in a Grateful Dead t shirt; It will change what you perceive as their energy 100%. Even if later you dont remember the specifics.

I love navy, it’s so much better with my pale coloring than black. Navy and white/cream is one of my favorites, and navy works beautifully with all the neutrals and pastels that my wardrobe predominantly consists of. I just wish it was easier to find, it used to be a standard color offering, nowadays everything seems come in black or beige only. Are you listening H&M? We want navy items and true white items, black and that warm beige don’t work for everyone!

The fit! The fit! I have two good tailors, but still! I am 4 ft 10 and although plus sizes are all over now, us shorties still struggle for the fit! For example, how about inspiring Lilly Silk to offer petite sizes? Long sleeve silk cuffs are almost impossible to alter! Even having more choices with sleeves ending in a simple elastic edge would help a lot. A gathered cuffed sleeve is very difficult to shorten, especially in a silk fabric.

Try the silk from Quince - I find that their sizing is for smaller body types. I'm 5'1" and their clothing fits well.

I work in a male dominant business, and dressing away insecurities does not work. The best way to overcome that is self work. Personally I think it is important to remain proffessional, learn negotiation skill. So tired of hiding my bra under a tank top and wearing thick nipple covers.
