My favorite part of this song is its placement on the album. ATLiens is one of those albums you just "let play" and not skip tracks. You listen to the first half of the album, which is a mix of jazzy tunes with some light funk tossed in. The whole journey is preparing and then finally achieving liftoff. And after 8 songs, you hit "Babylon" and that's the moment you're in space. It's a moment that never gets old and the thing I look forward to every time I listen to the album.
