I think it's rude of that interviewer lady to express curiosity about what's under Sam's skirt, while she doesn't even know him. Like bordering sexual intimidation. If anyone asked that of a lady they would think it's rude, men have feelings too!

Gayle comes across in this interview as an absolute idiot if you ask me. The whole thing is pretty uncomfortable, and I love that Diana Gabaldon is a bit short or seemingly irritated with some of the questions. No you can’t compare Game of Thrones to Outlander! They are Both great shows but thats as far as similarities go. Don’t even get me started about Gayle bringing up what under Sams kilt.... how unprofessional and inappropriate.

This series is beyond words!!! I´ve just watched some episodes from season 1 and from the very first I became a staunch fan. I don´t know if I will ever be able to read the novel´s volumes , as I have too many reading prioritities in line. Anyway, I often prefer the dramatization of novels than the written works themselves, which, I consider more as starting points for the dramatization pieces, which can have endless and varied versions to be enjoyed in differetn decades by different actors, approaches, etc. However, I intend to make a posting on my edublogs about the series and this author, after reading some good articles on her work. From what I´ve seen so far in the series, she is incredibly gifted in my opinion, and I guess the written work must be even more substantial in many aspects.

Game of thrones made it as a series because sci-fi fans don't care if something is completely non-historical and more disney than reality. 6 years after this cbs show it turns out that The Last Kingdom has been as faithful to Bernard Cornwell's fiction series as fiction to TV can be. I don't agree with the comment of that The Game Of Thrones had anything to do with the launch of this Outlander, TV Show, I am convinced that the actors have so much to do with the success of the story. I did not watch the Game of Thrones, because the first episode just made me sick, it was not my taste - But these stories episodes that captivates my heart, my imagination my desires and its a noble culture of men who make love to their land as to their women. Its, the Jamie character and Murtah that gets the skin spikes of emotions. Eye- I the love of the (Scottish Gaelic) unknown and yet the ancient preserved language its a mystery. If we were to attribute some influence, I'll say the J.K Rolling Trip in the 3/4 train for the Young Schoolers of Hogwarts in Harry Potter did the historic act of captivating the eyes. Ron Weasley whole definition of Scottish descendants...noble, sexy, manly, playful, lover, etc...I want to say. That my mind and my body are processing the stories of the Outlander. This really reminds me of The Current Queen Elizabeth of England. Who had been a nurse in the Great World War and Great Lady who was not at all weak- but Strong Minded and Hands down for her country and her people. So, Only Actions speak for the truth. I enjoy Outlander.
