Shaun, im from scotland myself and have just discovered your channel. Its interesting seeing another scots view on things around here. Really enjoy the content even the kinda educational ones despite already knowing about a lot of the culture and slang used. Shaun Hi Shaun, I returned home a few days ago and had the most amazing trip!!! Loved everything about Scotland...the people are so friendly! I spent 5 days touring with Mary’s Meanders and another week seeing places on my own. Loved Edinburgh and was lucky enough to spend 4 days exploring that wonderful city. Saw many of the Outlander filming locations you mention in your videos...your videos were a great help and the info you share came in handy!! Plus a whole lot more!! I took the advice you gave in a video and tried the haggis (and I enjoyed it)!!! I could go on and on about how wonderful my trip was...but in an effort to not ramble on, I’ll just say that after this trip, I will always carry a bit of Scotland in my heart (and I hope to return sometime soon). Thanks for doing what you do...it definitely helps 1st time visitors know what to expect!!

Hi Shaun! Nice video! Nice of you to take fans to tour the locations and that you took your sister so she can also see them since she is also an Outlander fan. Anyway, have you been to Doune Castle (Castle Leoch)? I suggest if you can you may go there ...I think it is near Stirling... just a suggestion if you could visit it and show it to us :) I'll check out your podcast and thanks for the video!

Lallybroch looks so peaceful. A place I would certainly love to spend time just hanging out. I love Fife. It's like a magical place from a time gone by. Lots of beautiful footage. Glad you are feeling well. Two items, first, I would love it if you covered Sam's marathon! It would be fabulous if you were able to get first hand video or a selfie with him. I'd been to all but one of those, Falkland, when l was there this time last year..between Edinburgh and St Andrews you have at least 2 filming locations..Dysart Harbour and Aberdour castle that stood in for St Ann's, where Jamie recovered..of coarse you have Doune Castle and all the sites within Edinburgh itself..l can help you to plan Shaun..chuckles..now of coarse if you want to head off towards Ayr then you have Dunure Castle and Dunure Harbour and I'm sure there could be others..good luck..

oh, and when l was at Blackness Castle l found a pigeon nesting in the guard tower latrine. she had two eggs at the time..the first time l went in (not knowing) l disturbed her and she went through the grate but not far so she could still see her nest..the second time l went (yes l did go twice that trip, also twice to Lallybrock) l made sure not to go in to far so as not to scare her..

I Kno of a really cool place you could visit ,it nothing to do with Outlander but everything to do with Scottish history and way of life of years gone by . It would be quite a drive but not to bad ,as I have seen you made it to the Green Wellie before . In the summer they do demonstrations of different things people used to do ,like walking the wool , and sometimes offer Gaelic lessons . Auchindrain is the name ,it's near Inveraray .
