My opinion only as to why the character of Jamie is so popular - at least for me. First of all, we know he's incredibly handsome, tall, strong and sexy as hell. But besides all that, he's smart, educated, multi-lingual and well-read. He's loyal to and protective of those he cares about and loves. He cherishes his wife above all else and appreciates all her positive qualities. When you look at the total package, he's quite the man and millions of women around the world are looking for a "Jamie Fraser". Who wouldn't be? Diana Gabaldon created quite a character and Sam Heughan plays him to perfection. 🙂

Margaret Petrovich, I have to agree with you, a perfect summarisation of Jamie/Sam, as you say the complete package, I personally am not looking for a Jamie Fraser as I was fortunately blessed with one of my own, and I’m now past my sell by date, that doesn’t say I can’t appreciate Diana Gabaldon’s amazing character “Jamie Fraser” portrayed magnificently by Sam Heughan, who in their right mind wouldn’t! 😘 ‘Outlander’ has been a blessing to me through a rather difficult time in my life, all the cast and crew are amazing 🤩 Diana has given us a wonderful legacy to cherish for years to come, bless her! all the best from the U.K. 😊

De verdad q su pasión y amor traspasa la pantalla, es difícil pensar q sentiría un hombre de esa época al encontrarse con una mujer de un pensamiento tan avanzado en los temas de sexo y tan instruida, para él es algo tremendo, y es q la historia es apasionante y ellos dos consiguen transportarte a la historia, yo lo he dicho otras veces es una de las series más bonitas, interesante y genialmente rodada de lis ultimos tiempos. I'm going to bring up a scene that I think was very poignant. Brianna went hunting with her Father, Jamie, (after she had been raped). They were walking in the woods and Brianna was beating herself up figuratively speaking, and saying that she should have fought back more. Jamie was EXCELLENT in aggravating Brianna by suggesting she possibly wanted it causing her to lash out at Jamie in anger and Jamie put her in a choke hold and showed her how a man is stronger than a woman and she was not to think she didn't fight hard enough as the attacker could have killed her. Jamie proved to Brianna that she needs to let it go that she did the best she could under the circumstances. Poignant scene.

I like all these, but you forgot the shaving scene on the boat. That was something else, and it didn't involve a lot of nudity. But it was hot. Only Sam and Cait could make that scene sing.

The script of Outlander is so well written but Sam is brilliant as Jamie Fraser ! So brilliant that Jamie Fraser from the series is much, much better than Jamie Fraser from the books. Sam is Jamie Fraser !💖🦄👍

I for one didn't really care for Brianna and Rodgers love scenes. They don't even come close to Jamie & Claire love scenes. I also think that Jamie and Geneva love scenes were HOT as Hell. Their Sex went on for a long time. Longer than With Jamie & Claire. I loved it. Sam's body was so Hot 🔥 🥵 OMG

@@oopurpledove --- I'm not Linda but I will tell you my favorite Episodes were. When Jamie was in HELWATER with Geneva. Those scenes were OMG HOTTER then when he was with Claire. His love scenes went so much longer with Geneva. Love it. So much HOTTER 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
