Outlander. Jamie & Claire. Let's Just Breathe.

The Dreaded Droughtlander continues! Outlander is the popular series on the Starz channel, and soon Season 6 will join Seasons 1-5 on Netflix. The story is based on the best selling books by Diana Gabaldon and stars Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe. I wasn't planning on another video this week, but this one "just happened." This soulful song is by Pearl Jam, and it got stuck in my head. And when that happens, making a video can calm my brain! The thing is, I wasn't sure about this song, or these lyrics for Outlander.
But, then, the last lyrics made sense to me. Thank you, Sassenachs for all of your comments! It means so much to me. 💙💙💙So, here it is. I hope you enjoy it!

Dear Pamela. I'm very glad that this beautiful song got stuck in your head and you didn't find rest until you created a video for it. Sometimes the unplanned things are the best, like this. No other videographer touches me with their works like you can, your works always give me shivers. This combination of song and scenes are so soulful, melancholic and meaningful. I absolutely love the thoughtful details, like the scenes at the beginning when Jamie brings Claire to the Standing Stones before the Battle of Culloden against her will and the ending with the final moments together touching the stone .....meet you on the other side. Another very moving video and the song is great! I'm right there with you, sometimes a certain song won't let you go even though you're not sure if it really fits. You start editing and suddenly everything makes sense and falls into place. In my opinion, that's usually how the best videos are created. I'm a big fan of videos where the lyrics encourage you to read between the lines, but the scenes used lead the way and maybe even form a circle. Just like here. A wonderful work of art Pamela👏🏻🙏🏼💕
