Outlander. Season 6. Jamie & Claire. I'll Be There.

Outlander is the popular drama on the Starz channel and is based on the best selling books by Diana Gabaldon. The series stars Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe. As we continue slogging through Droughtlander, I worry that Season 7 might actually be the last for our beloved series. It would be a sad, less romantic world without Outlander...but we'll always have the books and the reruns. (sigh) Anyway, romance and love live on in my new video. The song is very old, but this unusual cover by Joshua Radin, is a sultry, intimate version of a classic by the Four Tops. The song is, "Reach Out, I'll Be There." Of course Jamie is always there!

Dear Pamela. An unusual cover, completely different from the original, but beautiful and like made for Jamie and Claire's love. Yes, Jamie always gives shelter to his beloved Claire whenever she needs it. You build an arc through some dramatic events in their life together, in which Jamie comforts Claire with his love, supports her when she is in despair, gives her courage and hope. You begin and end your excellent work with a scene from their wedding night, the day they swore they would always be there for each other. The emotions that Jamie and Claire convey with their facial expressions alone would have been worth an Emmy nomination, but outstanding acting talent doesn't seem to be a criterion anymore. I share your concern that the series may end with season 7, there are some hints and it saddens me if it is. But I know that even if this series ends at some point, this story will never leave me and accompany me throughout my life. I agree. I strongly suspect Season 7 will be the last full season. Maybe they will do a few more episodes after that to tie it up with some sort of bow, but both of the leads' careers have taken off and Sam also has businesses he's involved in, Cait has a child now and the Outlander filming schedule is grueling.... I imagine they want to move on and I can't blame them. It's been a lovely long run! Of course I'll miss the show so much but nothing good lasts forever and we'll always have the books and existing shows, which are amazing!

I think the same, as much as I love the series, after 10 years dedicated to Outlander, Cait and Sam might like to realize some other bigger projects. And they truly deserve it. (Or maybe they would produce a final long season 8 as well...? ) Season 7 will have 18 episodes, they actually just finished episode 6, a third, meaning they will shoot Outlander probably until March 2023. I hope all the narrative archs are finished then and we are not going through a new GoT disaster. Currently reading book 9, I think there would be still many stuff worth to shoot, not to mention book 10.
