I’m not sure why the writers didn’t include a memory of Claire telling Jenny about “planting potatoes” when Claire was telling the family about her being a time traveler. Jenny would have clued in at that exact moment and it wouldn’t have been so hard for her to believe.

@ I just watched it again and I really think it needed more episodes to wrap everything up. I’m going to be heartbroken if Jamie dies. I’ve watched the series many times and I realized during the Writers Strike that I have been watching Outlander for my mental outlet because it’s such a beautiful love story that has nothing to do with anything going on in the present day. It’s difficult for me to see it all end. I don’t think Clair should have gone back to America until after Ian Sr passed away. Of course they had to separate them to make me cry like a baby. I’ve been invested in this series and I have never been like that before about anything on tv. I truly hope Sam finds his true love someday soon. There’s so much of Sam in Jamie, it’s impossible not to love him.

How emotional can it be when Claire is suddenly recalled to the Colonies and Jamie is left alone? Honestly, it's nuts how really hard it is to believe that Claire is the only surgeon who could help this person Lord John wrote to her about. How long did it take for Claire and Jamie to get to Scotland by boat and how long will it take for Claire to return? Are we expected to believe the "Game of Thrones" version of travel? The only storyline I'm here for is Roger and Bree's. Though I little convenient he is meeting Geillis at the end.

That's true I also thought about the time spent on travel and in the trailer for the new episode Lord John says Claire arrived sooner than he expected...I'm really confused

Being a Scottish mam and having a Scottish mam I can tell you that no matter how long Jenny hadn’t seen Ian there’s no way that after the initial hug the next thing out of a Scottish mam’s mouth would be ‘what the hell have you done to your hair’ 😂

I'm not sure why Roger is looking for Jemmy in Scotland. Jamie hid the gold in North Carolina and he knows it. Why wouldn't he hop on the next ship to America?

What happened ? I watched season 7 part9 , the entire chemistry between Jamey and Clare fizzled out . The entire part is missing something .What ? Cannot put my finger on it is all over the map . It gets a bit old Outlander, when the family is together at Lalibrook I hope part 10 and on pick up its emotional charge its suspense . The main thing are two leads Their story line . Their chemistry their love .The rest of characters story lines are important . But let’s not forget This is a love story between the two leads . If you loose it , you have lost the magic of Outlander. By the way as Claire leaves with Jan to travel back to America in the last scenes ,?where was Jami ? He vanished?

Yeah I also waited to see Jamie say goodbye to Claire by waving after her but I guess they wanted to focus more on Ian's goodbye to his father

In the books Jamie and Claire separate but for me it was Jamie not taking Claire to the port or feeling some sense o he didn't want her to go was missing

I wish they hadn't brought leiree all those yrs later. I don't like how everything is being rushed at all. Outlander has been phenomenal for 10 yrs an to stuff everything in is sorta confusing too.
