I get so tired of the comments of so many saying how disappointed they are that the tv line doesn't follow the books more closely. They are two totally different conscripts. Books are cereal and lead to more relaxing experiences. TV is made for excitement and therefore has to be changed from the total long ongoing process of endless page after page of useless fill in dialog to meet a page count. To each their own.

Greatest series ever. I think there is too much time between seasons. We know season 7 has been finished for a long time. Now season 8 is finished as well. I am disappointed that it doesn’t go to season 10. I like how it follows the books and how realistic all the sets and costumes have been. I appreciate the historical accuracy.

I have yet to read all the books so I am just fine with whatever direction the TV show takes 😊. I frankly don’t understand people saying follow the books follow the books follow the books. If you like the books, great! Read the books! It’s ok if TV show is different. Just view it as something different or don’t watch at all.

Waiting for the tv series and the book series to come to an end is painful, I wouldn’t mind seeing them have different flows. The books are to large to cover in one tv series so maybe it would be good to take it in a new direction and leave the books to its own end.

It's an adaptation. Just like all books brought to movies or TV. It's a little late for them to "stick to the books" after 7 seasons. I have read the books also, and it would be impossible to bring in every storyline and character. Adaptations don't work that way. Diana Gabaldon has spoken about this several times.

I’m so sick of waiting for the stupid movie to start over again. I keep saying I should be reading the books. Why read when you can get that program that would read it to you I am severely handicap. Reading will make me have seizures sucks when you have to start looking into how do I finish this? I’ve never waited this long just to see movies that are supposed to be played each week. Stars is where you see it. How can people not know where it is if they’ve watched it. And yes, I would’ve been more grateful to be able to go to the movie theater. They’re gonna end up with the death of Claire. She’s gonna end up being gone and then it’s gonna be on her daughter. They’re not gonna close down something like this because they make too much money.
