Murtagh was honestly one of my favorites, right at the top with claire and jamie. He’s a loyal romantic with honor and respect... literally burst into tears when he barged into the wedding😭 his life was basically giving love and sacrificing everything to the ones he loved.

Jamie’s Godfather portrayed remarkably well by Duncan Lacroix was the most Loyal and Steadfast character in “Outlander” among many fine actor’s, he was constantly keeping vigil of Jamie as he promised his mother and the woman he loved that he would, and then of cause that in time automatically transferred to Claire also and he remained so for the rest of his days, I believe like all “Outlander” lovers Murtagh will be the most missed, all ten ‘Great Moments’ to my mind are most memorable, the most poignant I found was No.2. when they reunite after searching so long for each other, the look of disbelief and then illation on their faces was astonishing! also the scene were Jamie tells Murtagh to go and not be easy to find (by the redcoats) was heartbreaking! Jamie/Sam’s reaction was off the charts, and my heart is still crying for him, 😢
