For Big Chief or any of his friends that actually read any of what's being said on here. Chief, it's past time that you invest the money that it takes to run with the big Dogs and start back winning like you did on the TV show street outlaws. You made a lot of fans that just hate seeing you get out run the way you do at the tracks where real drag racers go to race. The street racing is good and exciting when you're small time on a strict budget, but those engines can't and won't run with Megalodon's or the Larry Larson's type drag racers on a consistent basis!!!! Thanks, a Big Chief Fan that wants to see that GTO faster and consistent!!!

Yea, the finish line is much harder to see for 8th-mile racing. They really need to do a better job of showing that at the drag strips. It's a track issue.

Ok so you showed us the finish line is the cone. Is that 1/8 mile? Or NHRA standard of 1,000 feet now? Or is it the old standard of 1/4 mile? That would HELP IMMENSELY in you explanation of the finish line? And maybe I'm wrong and that you street racers are running a distance of your own making as it is your alls world. Thanks for the great videos! It is nice to see what these boys and girls like to bet on these races also if there is a way of including any of that also. And a question for you are any of these cars holding any national records or not because they sure are fast. These street cars run what funny cars did back in the day of my time which was the Chi Town Hustler, Jungle Jim, The Hawaiian, Snake &. Mongoose and others if that tells ya how old I am but I love Street Outlaws but I like seeing them race in a little safer settings now days at tracks at least I hope it's safer as we have seen some pretty good wrecks on the show!

Elimination races. They had a new rule of a double elimination between two days of racing. Made it very confusing as a fan to follow. But as always I'm just there to see some great races go down.

Thanks for the vids and great coverage but I have 2 issues. 1- It's really annoying watching this not knowing if I'm watching a grudge race or an actual Armageddon race. 2- don't say Left or Right lane won cause it's confusing. Your left could be my right depending on where I'm watching these. Just say the name of the person that won instead.

Lanes designation is from the start line looking towards the finish line. Left is always left right is always right. Hope that helps

So what are we running here!? 1/8 mile!? .... it's a dragstrip! why not race the full 1/4 mile!!!??? don't get me wrong, they have some badass fast cars BUT 1/8 is what U might race on the streets, on a track why the hell not go the full 1/4 mile!?!? Here in Sweden when we run 201 meters/1/8 mile it's to usually even out the odds a little so all cars with whatever setup they have can race, RWD, FWD and AWD. wanna see how we do it?! check out 1320's vids when they came to Sweden and Stockholm Open! I'm with you, but there excuse is that it's a no prep track so it would be too dangerous to run the full 1/4mile.....I prefer 1/4mile myself & 1/8th mile is the reason why I have never & will never attend a streetoutlaws event.....plus they gotta kill the goofy flashlight starts....its 2019 not 1950.

i just love drag racing building a rig now just nothing like these i'm running pump gas only full street no slicks or nitro but do have a pro built 327 from bell automotive just for pump gas so far beat a few cars with nitro but lost some too but need a new rig for it thinking on a 66 dart or camero i have sitting around or my be a pu right now i'm restoring a 68 chevy pu with a 454 stroker with tunnel ram it should do good for street on pump gas

It's frustrating to see Kamikaze and the Elco have so much potential but not reaching it! Hardly ever see the car make a clean hit so that tells me they aren't testing the car nor working their tail off to make it work right. I mean it's the same teams/drivers that have consistent cars showing up at the races. Chief, Daddy Dave, Larry Larson, Ryan Martin, Magaladon, and cars/teams like this make a clean pass like 75-80% of the time. That's cause they work their tales off to make sure the car is ready to go and they obviously come to the race with a solid piece. Plus you got to have really knowledgeable guys on your team to keep the car lined out. Kamikaze is making the same kinds of hits that the car was making a year or longer ago. Spins off the line then makes it about 2-300ft before smthn else happens. He needs to weld some new frame rail under the car on both sides or whatever it takes to make that car work. To nice of a setup to not be winning some races by simply outrunning the competition! I know it takes a lot of $$$ and that may hold him back some but he needs to find somebody in the racing world to help him get that car lined out. Sure it will be a hard job but there is somebody out there that can help him get that car down the track! Same thing with Murder Nova, that car hasn't been consistent yet and it's a really nice, new car! He needs to surround himself with more knowledgeable guys too if he wants to win! You got to have a solid team to keep these cars performing at their tip top shape and some of these guys are slacking! Obviously money helps but the Elco needs some work to make it perform. Easier said than done I know but when you see a lot of your competition making clean passes a large percentage of the time that's got to light a fire under your tail to make your car as consistent as your peers! You can tell who has good teams by the performances of the cars! Just my opinion!!!
