When I saw the thumbnail, I groaned a bit inside that this would be a 3D printed hover system and parts. Keith, you have no idea the size of the smile on my face that this was a pure kitbash. So much is lost today with the ease of 3D printing. Not that it doesn't have SOME place in the hobby, but to see a purely bashed together build with parts from all different genres is refreshing. That base is just what it needs to be. Doesn't always have to be a 4ft square base full of mountains and rivers....lol. Love the build, the colors, and the grind! Bravo, my friend!

Awesome build . Just amazing. The base is great 👍. And by the way I can be a hoarder in 5 min . I have to stop myself from saving broken items , toys and old clocks for small parts . At one time came close to 4000 diecast cars , don’t even ask about HESS TRUCKS , lost a ton of money with those trucks . Be safe , Mike .

Really enjoyed this. And yes, you are one of the reasons I got into the hobby, so mission accomplished. Part of what I like about it and this build is to be thinking about how I think it should look and how close I get to the picture in my head. Spoiler alert sometimes closer than others. This was a fun and informational build and I enjoyed it very much. Thank you

Heck of a wild build Keith! Looks great (and you're WAY too hard on yourself about the base - it's perfect and gets the point across). Had to laugh at the "my daughter never throws anything away" followed by you bringing the box of beads to your work area lol I can't begin to tell you how much stuff I start to throw away, only to find some excuse to keep at least some of it (or better yet, take electronics apart) for a future build of some kind.

That’s a fantastic build. I am right there with you. I have a lot more fun in the sculpting and the crafting and the creativity but once I hit it with primer, I lose all motivation and then I dragged my feet on painting. 😂

This was a fantastic build & video Keith! I love the kitbashed components and that base is REALLY GOOD! So don't be so hard on yourself. Next time film and show what you did, seeing how others do things helps out a lot. Some of the best "How tos" don't show how its done, but how YOU did it.
