Turned out great Keith! It's a fun casting to work with. Had to laugh at the "I refuse to learn my lesson" comment while drilling the exhaust...but there's always the "what are the odds of drilling myself again" thought to support what you were doing lol

Awesome job here Keith! That color is definitely more purple than "cherry". As for safety, my thoughts are I've drilled into my finger a dozen times so far, what are the chances it'll happen again??? 🤞🏻 I love this casting as well, picked up a few when they came out. Problem is I'm stumped with too many ideas for it. I've always thought that front end would be a great start for a rocket car (actually a truck 🤨) from the Buckaroo Banzai movie.
