Excellent video Paul. One mistake thry, ever did was demolish the A Shop it couldve been kept to house Steam and show how trains were built as this was the main centre point.

Lovely stuff. Sadly, Swindon Outlet Mall was never really promoted here in Milton Keynes, yet Bicester Village was and is heavily advertised. To me, and I am a bit of an architecture Nerd and have a Familial connection to the invention of the Railways, Swindon Outlet Mall is the place to go shopping whilst being able to almost feel the history of the buildings there.

I remember when I first went to the outlet centre 10th July 1997 one day before I flew to Tenerife and I was at school the day before it opened the next day was red nose day

Locos and trains now built in Italy and Spain whilst this site is now used to sell clothes made in sweatshops, skilled men replaced with fast food staff on minimum wage . The only positive is that a lot of buildings are still there. Its very sad.
