That's where I feel like it was a good idea with poor execution. Caillou really does act like a kid, a spoiled one, and to a fault. The animation style also captures the way a young kid might see the world, simple and imaginative with faded colours (because young memories often have a faded feel). There was really so much creative potential for this show.
