Day 5 of our Cruise, and we are in search of EV's in the gorgeous port of call La Caruna Spain. Truth be told, we found very few EV's, but we had a blast exploring the city and visiting the Hercules Tower built in 100 AD.

It’s not a seat, it’s a spelled that way but pronounced SayAt and they also sell an EV called the Cupra Born based on the ID3

On a family vacation through Spain, we visited Valencia, Madrid, Toledo, & Barcelona. Only the larger cities such as Madrid had EVs. Italy is same with no EVs is smaller towns such those on Amalfi coast like Positano, Sorrento, and Ravello. Tour guides & limo drivers claim EVs are only purchased in larger cities that have charging stations.

SEAT - pronounced: say-at! - In Europe, The Ford Galaxy, VW Sharan, and Seat Alhambra all came off the same production line and are all virtually identical!

The tilda (~) over the n in Caruna indicates that you need to pronounce it with a Y - Carunya!

Great video Dave. Was in La Caruna one year ago today on a cruise port. Fabulous city. Headquarters for Zara. They employ a large portion of the population there. There is Zara clothing, Zara Home, Zara Kids, etc.

La Coruna or A Coruna belongs to Galicia, a region of Spain with it's own culture/language. Galego is similar to portuguese.

Spain has very limited charging infrastructure. So that must be the reason why there are very few electric cars there.

La Coruña.... Spain is very reticent to ev´s , and the infrastructure is poor specially in the north, best places are barcelona , valencia and madrid . i live in Ibiza Island and the very first 50Kw dc charger was installed 5 years a go, and there´s less than a dozen a place where yo cant drive more than 120km(72 miles) without repeting road
