There are probably some rules that aren't fully explained. "No tipping" would be a common one. I've done plenty of 6v2 drills where the 6 aren't allowed to tip or the 2 are always served to or etc. Remember that this game isn't about winning but practice.

That's what I was thinking. Probably a rule that says you're only allowed to do full swings and no cut shots. Basically you can just read their shoulders to see where they're going to hit the ball. Pretty easy
