First off. Thanks for using some of my trooper shots! 🙏🏻, The dagobah luke is so good and the yoda proper scale and look makes it a top 10 for me as well! Awesome list. Alll are bangers and coming up with a top 10 of all time at this point in the game is so damn hard so the fact you guys did is a triumph in its own! This inspired me to revisit a few of this figures in photography form so keep an eye out for those soon. Off the top of my head I'd have to add ESB Vader in here just because he is my favorite SW character and that Vader is so good imo. Great Video and List my dudes!

I knew for a fact you sent us 2020 Stormtrooper photos before for a video...I just couldn't remember which video! Then it dawned on me it was the Black Series Banger video for the Stormy. Lol! And yep you're right...it was super tough. There are so many figures where I think "does this deserve a spot" or do I just really like it right now? We initially had ESB Vader on the list but I think what slightly throws me off on that figure is the helmet shape/proportions? I don't know. You know with as large as the line is now there’s no shame in a top 20. I suppose a top 5 for each era could be in order. I know I have what 400 maybe more. You could have top 50 easy as there are lots of fantastic unique sculpts in this line. It’s not just a bunch of repaints. Chewbacca and 3PO two pack, Rio from Solo, Teebo from RoTJ, Sith Troopers from RoS, Vader ESB, Lando in disguise RoTJ, Leia Hoth, Jaina Solo Extended U, Asajj Ventress Clone Wars, Saw Guerrera Rogue One, Jar Jar Binks from Phantom Menace, Fennic Shand Mando season 2, Mando recent release, etc. Lots and lots to celebrate.

I am beyond impressed by the newest Mando and R2. I feel like this line has so much potential, but needs a little better management. Some of the figures are flops with practically no paint apps or tremendous scale issues, and others are absolute masterpieces. Most lines have a smaller range of quality, and I’m hoping that is something that Steve Evans can course correct now that he’s back on board with the brand team. And one thing I can guarantee with Steve on board is that the OT will start getting more love again. I know that’s going to make you guys happy!

OMG….when you got to #1 I was so worried the Sandtrooper was gonna be #1 and you totally forgot about the Emperor on Throne. And then you didn’t. Absolutely the greatest #1 Black Series figure of all time. So well done. A few side comments. 1) a lot of these legacy figures still have those (now ugly imo) double jointed knees. Would love to see a bunch of these with the newer hidden knee joints, especially the Gammorean Guard. That big pig has wonky, very noticeable knee joints. Think how killer the GG would look with modern knees. Same for the Hoth Rebel Trooper, and several others on this list. I suspect going forward, the new sculpts with great deep cut elbows and pinless knees will start to overtake a lot of these. And 2) once you got to the Gammy Guard, I has to pause and shed a tear 😢 for the HasLab Rancor that never was. To this day I’m still disgusted to my stomach that the community voted it down. One of the most disappointing moments ever since I’ve been collecting, not only with Hasbro for their lack of creative vision for the figure and its anticipation of what us collectors would want and expect, but also for the community still not being flexible enough to bend a little for a once in a lifetime opportunity. I doubt we will ever see another chance at a 6” scale BS Rancor, especially now that the ROTJ 40th has come and gone. I digressed and expressed….sorry. Anyway, great list as always guys. This is getting harder and harder to do now that we’re 10+ years into the line with so many great figures. May need to consider expanding it to Top 20 going forward….😬.

That's a very good list, the stormtrooper 2.0 definitely belongs on there, and up high too. Boba is such an awesome figure, once you reshape the helmet. And too bad his fingers can't handle the stress though, I am affraid to pose him without his rifle now in fear of the fingers breaking. If you continued your list from 11 and up, where would you put the Endor Rebel? :)

Nice to see the love for Dagobah Luke and Yoda. That is one of my top three figures in the entire line all time. So so good. None of the newer figures have cracked my top 10, Al tho Saw Garrera, the Endor soldier, CW maul, and CW obiwan are hovering right outside it. I think that new mando will be on my list once I get him. He just looks fantastic. My list: Hm. Original Mando (brown armor) 10. Tusken raider 09. Sandtrooper 08. Hoth rebel soldier 07. 2020 stormie 06.Gam guard 05. Palps + throne 04. Cad bane cw 03. Dagobah Luke + Yoda 02. ROTJ Boba Fett / ESB boba fett (despite its faults I still love the ESB figure. Still has shelf presence in spades) 01. ESB Vader. I got the new obiwan show figuarts Vader this year and that is now the definitive 6” Vader, but for black series this figure is still no. 1 for me. Can’t get much better for what was then a $20 figure)

The ROTJ Boba Fett has two different packages, I could do either or since they’re the same figure. There is an Empire Strikes Back Boba, but it’s a completely different figure and that’s why we’d specifically say Return of the Jedi. -Justin

Great list guys! I just went through my entire collection, dusted and sorted them. There are so many great figures in the range, it's hard to pick specific favourites. I will say that there's one issue with the new stormtrooper - he makes the old ones look like ass. I've pulled the two I have and will repaint them as remnant troopers instead.

Yep! Good list, good list! Kinda sad that the Boba Fett (ROTJ) deluxe and the Luke and Yoda Dagobah (2-pack) don't get the love they deserve according to current prices and resale value. I love the R2-D2 as well. Strange story about the R2-D2 (ROTJ 40th). I have one pre-ordered from BBTS since April 2023, and it STILL hasn't released. I mean, what the heck?! Also, I've had Cap'n Rex on pre-order since July 2022 (also, BBTS), and he's finally arrived (Pile of Loot). I have to admit, though, one of the toughest moments in collecting for me was buying army-builder Clone troopers (6 - 212th, and 4 - 501st Legion) on the 2020 body just to have Hasbro come out with a newer, better version of the Clone trooper in 2023. UGH!!!

I think the helmet is actually off. The proportions on both the Duel's End Vader and new ROTJ Vader have better looking helmets. Just something about that helmet throws me off. Still an excellent figure and it was on this list last year! -Justin

In all honesty i dont think rex belongs on this list. It was a killer figure for the time but with the new engineering in 2023 hes outdated and desperately needs an update

The proportions of the Rex/Bly body are the best proportions the Clone Troopers in Black Series have ever seen. Combine that with expert weathering (back when Hasbro knew how to properly weather the figures with paint, not digitally printed), and you got a top 10 fig. I do agree though, love the 2023 CT sculpt. -Justin
