Thank you for sharing your stories! I’ve struggled with body image in my life. Someone in my family would always favor other body types. This person told me if I wanted surgery one day that that would be ok. It made me sad when this person would say that because I didn’t want surgery and I never got any. I’ve been told many hurtful things and I would just look in the mirror and tell myself “God made me this way, he makes no mistakes” my faith in God really helped me love myself, in a world that tries to tear you down remember the one who created you , the artist, he handcrafted you , he wanted you to be on this earth so he literally made you just How you are because he wanted you. Me believing this has really helped my confidence It’s not always easy but trust me the more you tell yourself how wonderful you are, you will start believing it! ❤️ Put up positive post it’s in your room surround you with good people who lift you up, you got this ladies and gents

It’s so funny to hear you both talk about being “normal” casts cause I was out here watching like of course they picked these women they’re all so pretty. Lol but I do love that you weren’t on the show to become famous and are normal people in that sense ❤

I know you guys have developed your self confidence and it’s a lifelong journey but it’s so strange to me to hear about your insecurities because genuinely I think Deepti has Disney princess like pretty features and Natalie just exudes elegance and classic beauty. It’s sucks that society standards makes women feel less than!

“Slow burn” is one of my favorite types of romance novels actually! I love the build up. Also, when I think of slow burn I picture starting a campfire…it starts off with a spark and then builds to hot fire flames..if that helps the phrase make more sense.

Yeah it was kind of a matter of half glass full or empty approach. The inclination of "burn" alludes to like what Deepti said, that fuel is being expended and will eventually run out. But in terms of what people usually mean by a slow burn relationship is merely just taking things slow rather than whirlwind attraction that fizzles out fast. What I usually prefer for these burn analogies is that they can refer to the stages one goes through such as the honeymoon stage where some people snap out of the stage faster than others.

Hello Deeps and Natalie. My husband I just discovered the LIB show on Netflix this week and we both commented on how beautiful you are, how well you both dressed and can’t believe the terrible things people write. I was raised to respect people no matter what. I am terribly sorry that you guys haven’t found a husband yet because you guys sound great. Marriage is so hard and you grow so much as a person to learn how to be a wife and raise a family and it changes you in a big way. I’m sorry you guys are having to freeze your eggs because the time crunch on being a woman. All the best to you both even though you’ll probably never read my comment.

The people who comment on someone else's perceived physical flaws are projecting their own insecurities. It's never about the other person, but about how they are unaware of their own complexes. This is what Shake did to Deepti. It's sad. I would never have thought that either of them looks bad in any way. It's crazy. They are two beautiful women with beautiful, healthy bodies. People don't recognize how they should be grateful for just being youthful and healthy.

@Out of the Pods Love that you can both disagree respectfully. I’ve always known a slow burn to be a slow build, but in a positive way. It’s just a distinction from an immediately intense attraction.

I think Deepti is adorable looking and I am so-so glad she is not buying into the whole nose job thing. And Natalie has a very graceful sort of Audrey Hepburn way about her. I am glad the two gals have each other. I do think supportive friends is extremely important. I too had eating disorders when I was a teen and early into my college years. I know all about wanting approval and also comparing myself to people I just never had the chance of looking like because of genetics. I also wanted a nose job when I was younger, but never got one. In some photos, Princess Diana's nose looks large and in others not. But who cares! Her nose is NOT what she was loved or not for....and it is not what she is remembered for either. I personally thought Zach was the most adorable guy both looks and personality wise....and yet Irina didn't seem to like him. Everyone likes something different. We just need to find "our person" who cherishes our overall package...inside and out. All relationships are difficult though, since no one is a perfect person day in and day out. I think that is the thing. People don't realize that sometimes relationships involve sacrifice....but it is worth it to have a good partner. I think too many people are looking for someone who will "make their life happy happy happy and near perfect". Like finding a mate is a CURE of some kind for all of life's ups and downs. And the funny thing is, the people who are critical of others are often the ones being dishonest or rather flawed themselves, I find. Finding a mate doesn't mean not having life problems. It means having someone to go through them with. I LOVE YOUR PODCAST SHOW!!!!

Natalie, if that woman was a doctor I seriously think she should be reported or something. I don’t know if there is a way to locate her LinkedIn and make a complaint to her workplace or what, but that should not stand. Especially in her profession, that repulses me.

LOLLLLL, the slow-burn intro!!! I look at it the same way Natalie does, in the sense of not burning away, but burning more and higher and more fiercely. Like, you slowly started to build a fire (romance) together to create a large fire (massive love towards each other). Thats just my opinion though. Id rather the immediate attraction because I have no patience LOL! Aries fire-burning princess vibes.

It is getting eerie how comfortable people are saying nasty things online, I looked at the LIB Reddit thread periodically and oh my god the things people say. I understand the concept of trolling but it makes me side eye the people I share space with at the grocery store. It’s bordering anti-social, the way people go about the internet. Deepti’s nose is literally Disney tier button nose. I think the internet hates women in general and have a weird expectation for all of us to look like Barbie’s no matter what career we have, let alone our preference for grooming. If someone told me to do my makeup a certain way I would ask them what makes them think i should add on being model beautiful to my already extensive list of responsibilities. I’m good lol. Makes me want to become an ogre and live in a swamp with 10 cats. That sounds nice.
