Drying the fish filets with a paper towel might help with the cooking process, Captain? Look at you with the hi-speed waffle maker...Hilarious. My blood sugar just spiked with all that syrup...where's the butter? The beard is new, must be winter in the south as well. Well, the shark thanked you for a "free meal" @ 17:55. I guess a 12 Gauge slug to the shark is frowned upon in the Bahamas. Is there a touch of "gray" in that beard or was that the sun @ 29:38? Great day of "catching", Captain.

@jeffreypinder9398 lol cap And I love the waffle.And yes I have a few grey hairs on that beard🤣, I started the beer about a year ago but I have a trimmed And it does help with the cold weather but it's terrible with the diving 🤿 mask

If your engine is carbureted you may be able to use small fuel jets to help with fuel burn

@OutOnTheReef that's just shows the difference between setup needs. It's like training a race horse. You either got one that jumps out the gate like crazy and falls off on the end or you got one you just hold back on the start and he got the tank to out last the end

It's been interesting to monitor your fuel burn. My 24' Cutwater - 250 hp Yamaha - gets the same hull speed (your trolling speed of 6 mph +/-) mileage if not a bit more. But at planing speeds in calm'ish waters you are about 1/2 gph more efficient. I run about 1,000# heavier than you but I suspect it's the hull forms that make a bigger difference.

@@OutOnTheReef 16T x 15 1/2 As for weight, our first step was to remove everything we wouldn't need, even tho' the boat was emptied by the previous owner. Amazing the weight you can find if you go looking for it - several hundred pounds.
