I am intrigued by these campers. Very thoughtful design. Question...around the 4 minute mark in the video, when you are explaining the functionality of the panel, there is a large EcoFlow (something) mounted in the cabinet over the panel. What is this?

About how long can you run the A/C unit off the battery, if you're not charging with solar at all?

On Eco Mode, it will run for around 10 hours on a fully charged 4KWH battery bank. About half that on full blast. Solar or DC-DC charging will significantly increase run time, and of course you can run it indefinitely if plugged in to grid power.

Great camper. Will you be building an 8’ camper with a shower?

We have seen a lot of interest in an 8' model. This is definitely something that we are looking into! Keep an eye on our newsletter and social for announcements about future product models and updates!

Hi, I am a little confused are these batteries lithium iron oxide or lithium ion. It is my understanding that lithium ion batteries are a fire hazard and most or all companies are going to lithium iron oxide.

Ecoflow uses LiFePO4 batteries, the ones that are much less likely to runaway and catch fire. Same chemistry as Victron, Lithionics or any other industrial lithium battery installed in a moving vehicle or vessel.

How long to charge battery if using solar and alternator at the same time? Assuming that battery was initially at zero

There are a lot of variables to consider when answering that question. One battery or two batteries? Are we in optimal solar conditions? One solar panel or two? What loads are on the system? Can the truck's alternator support 50 amps of 12V output? It's not a simple question to answer, but I'll answer for one specific set of circumstances. Hypothetically, let's say we have a 4,000 watt hour (4 kWh or 2 battery configuration) battery bank with a 500 watt solar array (2 panels). We are in optimal sun conditions (let's say the panels are putting our 400 watts of charge), and driving with 30 amps of 12V charge (approximately 400 watts). In this scenario, we're charging 400 watts from the truck's alternator on the DC-DC charger, and 400 watts on solar. Assuming no other loads on the battery and all else equal, we're charging at 800 watts. 4,000 watt hour battery bank divided by 800 watt hours of charge (4,000/800) shows 5 hours to charge a completely dead battery from zero to full. That same system would take half the time to charge zero to full if the battery bank was halved (1 2kwh battery instead of 2). This is a hugely oversimplified example as it doesn't take into account many variables in a typical lithium battery charge cycle and assumes no loads and a very specific solar and DC-DC output scenario, but hopefully this is helpful. In reality, it will be extremely rare that you have depleted your battery to zero (do you drive until your car's fuel tank until you're completely empty and stranded on the side of the road?), and you'll likely be bouncing between fully charged and 50-75% charge for most camper use cases unless you have some unusually large electrical loads.

So..I am going to have to educate myself on how much power the induction cook top uses. The galley has always been the heart of any of our adventures(boating, bike touring, hiking) and I just want to make sure it can handle the demands.
