Outpost Infinity Siege Playthrough Part 4 (Outpost 7 lost & Kronos Descends)

Off to recover data archives and then Outpost 7 sends an emergency broadcast. Their Promethean field has failed, and Aetos responded by laying waste to vulnerable Outpost 7. The wreckage must be sorted through for a prototype orbital strike cannon, any survivors, and the reason behind the failure. All of this must be done before a Kronos Mobile Fortress takes notice.

Oh no it’s all good just a suggestion since it’s always funny to me when you say “I did a little grinding” at the beginning of each vid and I’m already prepared for a massive jump. But this time caught me off guard since I had the same reaction you had at 1:28:00 because you went from a smg to a dmr that can shoot lighting strikes and a nuclear mist that disintegrates everything in front of you😂. But W vid I’m looking forward to the next upgrade spike.

A tip for later (if noone mentioned it previously) when you unlock pillars/collumns, they can be packed tightly together in a line to allow you to mount a lot of generators in a very small space, looks ugly but nothing a few walls can't hide while providing a ton of Core Power, boosting your turret damage output and X-boost range.

@karolrychlik877 I will have to test these when I finally find them. Depending on how they work, I might be able to use them more efficiently than the current storage grid setup I have. Which only accommodates 2 generators at the cost of 2 storage chest spots. Thank you for the advice.

If you notice, most or some of the player-made outposts that has that amount of efficiency tend to look ugly when viewed from certain angles. But man, do they make your life easier and also pack a punch whilst also providing actually useful combat buffs that either stacks or resets/extend its durations. Guess anything efficient almost always tend to look ugly 😅.

@@lukmaanpratomo6866 yeah because most people dont bother hiding the rows of pillars behind walls, they just wanna get as close to that 10K core power cap. Im tempted to paste my outpost code in the comments but im not sure how importing endgame outposts blueprints would work for someone who doesn't have Cruiser Cannons yet.

@@karolrychlik877 It's personal taste, really. Personally, when it comes to tower defense or any crafting/building games, I tend to gravitate towards Function Over Form, such as shortening the distance for the conveyor belts, putting Autoloaders as close as possible to both the ammo printer and turrets, etc. Basically, eliminating as much micromanagement as possible since my philosophy when it comes to tower defense games is to be braindead when it comes to those high pressure situations by being over prepared and over cautious 😅. Playing too much Bloons TD and Arknights can do that to a person 😂.

It is a unique and interesting game that has a ton of potential to grow, especially for people who enjoy the endless building and refining of a base to hold off against endless swarms of enemies. I bought it during the last winter sale on a whim, and I do not regret it currently. It is a proper quirky game.

Arty Shells require an ammo box, and 10 gold which is combined in the Assembler.

I will keep that in mind going forward should I need more. Luckily, the shells seem to be pretty abundant in 1 map, which should make farming them easy enough.

By the way Reclusive do you stream any?. Was just curious since you always say we probably wouldn’t want to see the grindy bits in between but you’d be surprised how many would want to see the in between grinding including myself!!

I have thought about streaming and how I might go about it. But I don't think it really works with my current KZbin style or fits with my current real-world work scheduled. I think I mentioned in one of my Stalker 2 videos that I was apprehensive about my current KZbin setup and style as I am unsure of how my growing community is currently reacting to both the content I create or who I am as a KZbinr. (This was back at 106 subs and not my current 395. Things seem to be relative solid at the moment.) I am trying to make my videos a combination of recording like a streamer while exploring the game and trying to involve my community in my comment section as I find interesting things / topics to talk about. While also being conscious that not everything has to be seen or experienced and maintaining an idea of not wasting my communities time. I spend a great deal of time trying to edit out dead air, excess deaths, repeat attempts, backtracking moments, and my occasional dumb moments (unless those moments are genuinely funny or interesting). I usually record 2+ hours, and I can cut 1-3 hours depending on how everything flows during an edit. I could try and keep more of the grindy bits. I would just have to figure out how to make it work. I also spend a great deal of time adjusting my audio set up to minimize any and all external / extra sounds. During my edits, I often edit in-between my audio waves forms to cut out anything extra. Such as my GSD, who roams about my room or my dragons as they roam about. So, my community hears a relatively balanced combination of my voice audio and the game. Which I think live streaming would leave me with less control of. I really do admire the bond a live streamer and their community develop, and maybe as my community develops and my own style continues to evolve. I'll switch over to streaming at some point. @@ReclusiveZ-GamingwithDragons Oh ok yea I figured you didn’t stream but since I’m new to the channel (thanks to this series to which I’d say is doing so well on your channel) I thought it was worth the ask especially since you do nail how you want your vids to be by making it a combination of a stream and vid. And in that case I would also say your vids on this series have been perfectly fine given you add the MUCH needed details from all your off screen grinding maybe add (gun mods, research and especially new blueprints found) since those are also very important since it showcases the variety the game has to offer (definitely talking about the pyro and cryo turrets you had in research lol). But enough criticism since I only wish the best for the series and your channel and I hope one day you can stream!!

Thank you again for the comment and the honesty. My brain sadly has a tendency to skip over certain details when I'm making a video. It is a bad habit. I will try and work in a more in-depth overview of my overall power gains, mainly in my guns, Zens, and the blueprints I've been researching. Luckily, my next video should be less of an extreme power jump. Legendary gear is so far very hard to come by.

That's the next chunk of grind. I've set up my 4 CIWS and 1 Twin 30mm. I'm aiming for 1 more, Twin 30mm, and then trying to set up my auto loader network. But legendary components are currently a struggle. I have the Nano chips. I just need the other items.

I.think you probably couldn't assign anyone to training cause you have them all assigned to posts already. you may need to manually unassign them. also don't forget to check your dispatched missions between tours.

@tenk2001 I completely forgot about the people assigned to bossing facilities. That makes a ton of sense. I'll need to start making some progress in the dispatch missions and gaining members with better traits to fill out my base and potentially become a new main to play.

@TheAngriestGamer. Space bar for the time dilation or bullet time as the game calls it. At least, that is what the game has my current key bind set for. Synced up play sessions should be interesting.

Also, didn't want to say anything with the plugged in humans in a prior episode. But the response to the nebula in outpost 7 kinda reinforces the foreshadowing that Fae's probably going to get sync'd up to Juliette with that special hardware before the end of the main story I reckon.

increase your trader level and just reset the trader npc to get more materials. Also 30mm turrets have bad depression firing arc so if the enemy is gets close to your walls those turrets are gonna ignore them.

Should be simple enough and will give me a reason to drop them in the training range to start leveling up so they boost the facility more. I'll have to experiment with the 30mm and the arc limits they have.

@@ReclusiveZ-GamingwithDragons get an operator with 3x trader buff and gear it with your extra gears to increase the operators value then slap it on to the trader base to boost its lvl massively about 3 operators with full purple gear will max it out, dunno about blue. you can fix the 30mm firing arc once you get the inclined platform so it will point down as default.

That's why sloped parts are great (until you get to the endgame guns), letting you angle your turrets and give them the extra depression they might need.

I am playing under the original version of the game. I've been burned far too often on "enhanced" versions of a game to justify the price, and I was largely unsure of how much I would like this game, especially since the vanguard edition looks to be purely cosmetic. But now that I've had the chance to dig into the game. I would easily buy the Vanguard edition if they offered it as an upgrade just to support the devs.

This was a foolish mistake on my part, and I apologize. I didn't realize I cut the portion where I found the blueprint. During the 1st tour of the episode under difficulty 2. The main map has a landmark named prototype factor (I'm unsure if it is always on the map or RNG. You may need multipul runs for the factory to show up). This is where you can find the 30mm twin barrel blueprint as well as the mine launcher and prewar artillery.
