You don't need the Maschine - any of the hardware from Native Instruments places really nicely with Konakt instruments because of the the NKS feature. The S61 is great with this - you can utilize smart scales, all that stuff -- Komplete control is magical too!

All seven instruments are indeed NKS compatible. You don't even need a Native Instrument to use NKS. In fact, I think part of it is Komplete Kontrol, which you can use to find sounds even if you don't have a drumpad or keyboard connected. Go watch some Sanjayc videos on how you can use other controllers. For people who already have a nice, expensive controller setup.

Yes, they are a purchase that you pay once for and the license to use them is yours. No annual fee. But the also make Arcade which is a monthly fee, that’s their only software like that, all the others you just buy outright.

Hmmm, I've just been chugging along and didn't know about any updates. My software has been working fine and maybe I was dropped from their email distro list, because I wasn't aware of anything big...guess I should look into it!

Thanks for the recommendation! Loving the plugins so far, however the expansions (at least in my case) I was only able to choose 10 of the 18 available. That's not a big deal, I have everything downloaded and installed through the Output Hub but I can't seem to get the expansions activated by following the instructional video Output provides. The video is for Kontakt 5 (2016) not Kontakt 6... Since these products are still completely new to me, (purchased yesterday) I would truly appreciate any insight you could share on activating the expansions. Thanks again for the great recommendations, (Timbaland Master Class & Output Plugins) you rock!

Studio 27 My error, sorry! It is 10 that you get and not all of them. I had issues getting them to work too, in that I needed to put them in the right folder. I’d recommend reaching out to Output customer service and hopefully they can get your sorted out!

Early August and for a few days you can get Output Essentials for € 349, or Exhale, Signal, Rev, Rev-3, Substance, Analog Strings and / or Analog Brass & Winds for -50 %. So yeah, if you just want to have Exhale, only € 99 now! Signal? € 99! Rev € 99! But if you then also want Substance? All three for € 349! That's just for a few days though!

1:41 Instruments, not plugins. Look, I know it's wild what Kontakt Instruments can do nowadays, but they are "just" Kontakt Instruments, Kontakt is the plugin they use. Technicalities? Yes, and yes, language changes, but before you know it we'll call a guitar a plugin.So no. 2:52 Not all. Just ten.There are 22, even at the time of making this video there were more than ten. This all said, one can get all 7 instruments, plus all 3 effects, plus all 22 expansions, regularly discounted on the Output website for € 849.
