@Ragitsu Hi, it is a blend of Euro and Latin. The 120 bpm drum base give it a dance feeling (Euro). But the trumpets, the piano, the Claves and the bongos sound is definitely Caribbean. Listen to Miami Sound Machine.

I remember seeing an arcade that had a Steering wheel back in the late 80's/early 90's. It had a red sports car and on the top of the Marquee was *OUTRUN* so I put in 1 or 2 quarters and play the game. I think that was my first experience of any sort with Force-Feedback..... This was even before I played Operation Wolf with the Uzi that shook..... That steering wheel literally spazzed out when I crashed into another car and I saw the guy and girl flip out....which in reality they wouldve been severely injured/paralyzed or dead.... But hey, its a video game and one I remember.

I would say it's more a blend of various European references than anything definite...then again, my pop culture tastes still need to be expanded, so it's likely this song fits a particular regional/cultural/ethnic style.

@Ragitsu Coast 2 Coast is the PS2 version of OutRun 2.......you get the original OutRun 2, plus a new version of the game that has different stages and different challenges in it. I own a copy, and I love it!
