Here's a good example, say the Dept of Transit was able to signal in suggested driving patterns based on aerial/satellite traffic data and suggest paths/routes and speeds based on GPS destination data. And you got SCORED for following the path. People would aim for the high score while simultaneously helping the flow of traffic which is actually a big deal.

As a gamer, I think this is cool. Of course logically I can see the failings of this endeavor, as so many have pointed out. But sometimes working on a project or concept to completion or just proof that it could be done is all the satisfaction one needs. Even if others don't see the value. As gamers that's something we do ALL the time. I think this could definitely be enhanced or combined with another project into something even more brilliant and useful.

I don't understand... how does turning reality into a simplified form help a handicapped person drive? Maybe augment the controls of a real vehicle... which people already do? I think the best thing on the front of a vehicle is a clear windsheild!

The "project" is so good he has to look left and right outside the screen to turn at that speed. Good job man! I'm sure a scientist was really needed to create this shit.

So does it actually have a camera that is determining the objects in the distance to represent them on screen as it hints to? Would love to see how that looks and which in game sprites it chooses. I'm not sure the road in the game is even skinny enough to drive those narrow paths at such a slow speed. None of this really makes any sense without some more context.
@awoc12311 жыл бұрын
