I'm back with another video game cover! This time its "Splash Wave" from Sega's 1986 classic arcade racing game OutRun, composed by Hiroshi Kawaguchi.
I wanted to remain faithful to the tone and energy of the original, but updated with some modern production, hardware synthesizers, and some of my own personal flair.

今聴いても色褪せない不朽の名作ですよねこの曲は　何度聴いてもたまらない！ 昔付き合いがあった友人が自分以上にゲームとこの曲にハマってて、念願叶えようと仕事頑張ってたけどサラリーマンじゃテスタロッサは買えない 結果アメ車でオープンに出来る車を購入し、この曲聴きながら晴天に高速に乗って運転したことで遂に願いを叶えたんですよね 自分も同車させて貰ったけどなんとも爽快で、こういう願いの叶え方もあるんだなと思い知りましたね その後友人は栄転しそれ以来会ってないけど今も元気してるかなぁ...そんな思いをしながら演奏を聴かせていただきました
