listening to this makes me feel so much more than I even want to comprehend. Its incredible what instrumental music can do for your mind, that instant feeling of euphoria. Just cracks me open and brings me to tears. As I listen to this, my mind opens up and I cant help but think of how little I mean to the one person I love the most. Please continue your journey and dont stop putting out music like this, it means so much more to some of us than you can even imagine!

I've listened to the danger of alignment at least 50 times and it still hasn't lost it's potency. The richness of the rhythm guitar+bass at 20:53 gives me chills every time. Very thankful I discovered this band.

Been a fan for awhile, but I always come back. No matter what musical tangent I go on, I always end up back here. The music you guys produce evokes such a large array of emotions that you can’t help but return. I absolutely adore your music and I’ll always be an avid supporter. As a guitarist I can say that I love how you guys modulate throughout the album and emphasize certain phrases precisely, and reemphasize and rephrase your motifs. Huge props to you guys. Keep writing awesome stuff, we all love it. And I love the album art. Aquarelle is befittingly beautiful.

It’s not raw enough for those of us who can’t feel such simple contentment as a powerful emotion. Not everyone is so blessed. This is pretty soft even though it is really good vibes. I personally feel like it isn’t a congruent aesthetic to me as it could be, say if I were half way into a bottle of booze.

I rate this among my favourite bands that sound like this blend, from Jakob, Mogwai, Cloudkicker (any projects with this slowed down math metal, let me know), If These Trees Could Talk, This Will Destroy You... among others. I read you like The Contortionist, and I can hear bits and pieces that might be influenced by Language. Which is a stunning record - especially, the rediscovered versions of a few of the tracks. Though I must say, the play with the Djent style, math metal, whatever you want to call it, is a great use of the style. Slowing it down. Being more atmospheric. I've been intimately into this direction for years. Well done, guys, you've left your mark, and I look forward for future releases. There is so much to do here. Plus, this sound... not just anyone can do because this goes beyond skill, but requires feel and vision. I'll be listening to this for awhile. Thanks, from Melbourne, Australia.

i havent seen anything else like this out there before. for about three years I've had my album on backburner so I could get the proper equipment, and I've always wanted to combine progressive metal/djent with post rock, and I've never seen it done before, at least not in the same way I imagined. I'll be starting my recording process soon, and to the only other pioneer I've found trying to do this, I say good luck, and hopefully we can be the spark of a new style of music.

If one never checked the track list in the description, one could assume there were 6 tracks. I noticed those breaks in Red Bird and The Danger of Alignment. Purely enjoyed the entire thing. Made my work day much more tolerable. Was this, by chance, a concept album?
@OutrunTheSunlight7 жыл бұрын
Being instrumental, it's a loose concept album because we love to hear other listener's interpretations. To us, each song is evocative of a mood that was personally experienced by our guitarist, Austin, over the past three years. In short: it's an album about love and change.
