Alejandra, can we focus on students on the other side of the Globe?
@teachwithalejandra3 жыл бұрын
@@jr-yv9nn Yes you can. It will really depend on the time of day you open up classes. For example when I teach early mornings in my time zone I teach many students from Asia but when I teach during lunch time I teach many students in North America.

where did you get your headphones? also, I don’t really have an office set up in my home. are there other ways to go around the space you work in?
@teachwithalejandra8 ай бұрын
My headphones were from Best Buy but using headphones isn't necessary. You can use any space in your home honestly. Sometimes when I teach lessons out of office I have a green screen or just blur my background. You can use either of those features on Zoom.

How do you know how long each class takes? I created two and felt like I wasn't going to have enough material but I ended up not having enough time! :(
@teachwithalejandra3 жыл бұрын
It's definitely a learning process. I think as you get more experience with teaching your own lesson plans you get better at timing. I know for me I set a specific time goal for each activity. For example 5 minutes intro, 10 min discussion, 15 min drawing time etc. But of course, sometimes, depending on the group of students the lesson may be a bit shorter or longer.
