This horn sound really works beautifully for this piece. It brought something new out of it. The original always screamed gospel to me. It gives the song a different kind of swag and soul. It's got this dirty New Orleans Jazz/ Bounce feel that works perfectly. No one is Cornell. But this cat has good grit in his vocals. Good vibrato that matches the vibe. I'm here for it.

Don't believe I am typing this but dude is actually TOO good of a singer to cover Cornell. Its all culture and control and less gutteral false chord...in addition to the song being a step/step and a half over the original. More props because Soundgarden's Outshined is crazy hard for most to sing, and this cat goes higher, way higher.
